Permanent makeup involves the introduction of a special pigment into the upper layers of the dermis on the face in order to correct the shape of the eyebrows, eyelids, lips, create color correction of the face oval or lighten dark circles under the eyes.
The main advantages of permanent lip makeup:
1. Plump lips are in vogue now. Tattooing will help to visually enlarge your own lips, and as a result, they will appear more voluminous, especially for girls with thin lips.
2. Permanent makeup helps to hide small imperfections on the lips. With age, the contour blurs, the color fades, the corners go down. Permanent make-up can regain shape and saturation. In some cases, permanent makeup can visually hide congenital defects, asymmetry.
3. Wide selection. The beauty industry today offers a variety of techniques, colors and methods for applying permanent makeup. A girl can choose a tattoo that will distinguish her from the crowd of fashionistas. A qualified specialist will give recommendations and, depending on the characteristics of the lips, will advise the method.
4. Saving time for makeup. Let it be just a few minutes, but won’t the girls find something to do with them?
Permanent makeup lasts from 6 months to 3 years. The longer you wear the tattoo, the more expensive the procedure will be. The quality of the work is also important.
Disadvantages of lip tattoo
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warns that permanent makeup carries health risks. During the procedure, the skin barrier is damaged, so infection is possible, including HIV and hepatitis C. And among the side effects of the procedure are the formation of colloidal scars and the appearance of granulomas.
Besides…
1. Permanent make-up is a minimally invasive method: paint is hammered into the surface layers of the skin. The pigment can lie unevenly in the skin, and then such a coating will look unaesthetic and of poor quality.
2. It is impossible to change the color or shape of the tattoo. That is, if you suddenly want a different lip color, you will not have the opportunity to change the image.
3. With regard to lip volume, a much greater effect of volume and moisture can be obtained with lip contouring (fillers based on hyaluronic acid). Moreover, permanent make-up, unlike injections, will not give lip rejuvenation, will not smooth out wrinkles.
4. When using a low-quality pigment, an allergic reaction to the pigment introduced into the skin may appear, and then the only way to get rid of this reaction is to run away and remove everything with a laser.
5. Carriers of the herpes virus during permanent make-up run the risk of an aggravation and manifestation of the virus on the lips, which can lead to undesirable consequences.
6. There are risks of infection. Especially if you chased cheapness and did it in a non-core location.
7. If you turn to an inexperienced craftsman, the result may be ugly: a crooked shape, uneven color, the presence of spots. Poor performance will require additional correction or removal using laser devices.
