May 12 this year. The MEDmeetsTECH conference will be held in Warsaw for the thirteenth time. The participants of the spring edition of the event will discuss, inter alia, on the directions of development of the area of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR) Augumented Reality (AR) and new technologies in telemedicine. A debate and presentation of the most interesting MEDTECH startups are also planned for this day.
MEDmeetsTECH is an event that connects the world of medicine, startups and business. For the second time, it will be held in a hybrid formula – both stationary and online. The theme of the meeting will be the #Artificial Intelligence area. Its spring edition will be an opportunity for people who create the ecosystem for the activities of medical startups in Poland to learn from each other an intelligent approach to technology in healthcare. It goes, among others o inventors, representatives of the medical world, investors, business leaders, representatives of public and private institutions and students.
In accordance with the assumptions made by the organizers, the conference will be divided into several thematic sessions. The meeting will start with the session: “Trends”, during which the speakers will discuss issues related to the future of the MEDTECH industry. We will learn from it, among others at what stage is our country currently located and in which direction are works related to the use of artificial intelligence in the field of health protection heading, and how technology changes the image of modern medicine.
On the other hand, during the session: “Market know-how” there will be many interesting issues concerning, inter alia, creating applications for rehabilitation with the use of smart clothing, using HOLO, AI, VR or metaverse solutions, and building ecosystems of companies and their products. Each of the presentations will be enriched by market case studies presenting the practical side of the presented solutions.
A debate on Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare: Opportunity or Threat is also scheduled for that day. – in which will be attended, among others representatives of the Ministry of Health, the Medical Research Agency and the Polish Federation of Hospitals. The meeting will end with presentations of the most interesting startups.
