If we are vaccinated against COVID-19 but we experience these symptoms, what should we do?

Certainly not to underestimate these symptoms, especially if we know that we have had contact with an infected person. We are able to deal with slight symptoms ourselves. What is important is doing the test – you need to make sure that it is indeed COVID-19. If this is confirmed, we undergo 10-day isolation. And that’s pretty much it.

What should we do to avoid getting COVID-19 despite being vaccinated?

Until almost everyone is vaccinated, behave as before, that is, follow the rules of the sanitary regime – wear masks, keep distance, take care of hand hygiene, especially if we only took the first dose. Remember – while the vaccine is fully effective one week – two after the second dose, depending on the type of preparation, we gain immunity after the first dose. However, it is smaller and therefore insufficient to avoid contamination.

When may a vaccinated person feel safe?

When we achieve herd immunity, i.e. when at least 70-80 percent are vaccinated. population – then we will be able to start living normally. Israel is an example of this. Remember, getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is not only an individual matter, but a matter for all of us. That is why it is worth getting vaccinated. Let us not be afraid of vaccines, let us not be fussy about preparations – the cases of blood clots we hear about are truly casuistic events, single in the millions of doses already administered.
