Essential oils directly affect the body through the skin or stomach and indirectly – on the psyche. They reduce the need for sugar, reduce bouts of hunger, help remove toxins and fats from the body, and help reduce cellulite.
Principle: in the process of aromatherapy, it is important to correctly combine essential oils and compose compositions in order to enhance the desired properties.
Doctors recommend turning to this science as early as possible, at the first manifestations of poor health, stress, or minimal extra pounds. Essential oils can prevent the development of a disease process or contribute to its easier flow.

Features: Some oils have lipolytic properties (the ability to break down fats). This oil is orange, lemon, rosemary, cumin, cedar, sage. Oils of bergamot, ginger, coriander, dill, oregano, fennel, mint or basil help with digestive disorders and regulate appetite, juniper and geranium contribute to weight loss. Others, such as cypress, eucalyptus, sage or celery oils, enhance drainage and remove waste. And finally, there are some, such as, for example, cypress and pine oil, they activate the venous and lymphatic circulation.
Principle: To combat cellulite, you can massage the affected areas of the skin with cedar oil and at the same time take two drops of mint oil on any neutral tablet between meals. Baths help well with obesity. Essential oils of bergamot, fennel, geranium, rosemary and / or juniper are indicated for their reception. To make the oils dissolve in water, it is better to mix them with sea salt. They take a bath 1,5-2 hours after eating and at the end of the procedure they rest, covered with warmth, for about 20 minutes. The maximum course duration is 10-15 procedures. The dose of oil is increased gradually, from 4–5 drops to 10. For respiratory aromatherapy, oils can be sprayed indoors: the essential oil of rose, lemon, bergamot (3–5 drops) is dissolved in 1 tbsp. a spoonful of alcohol and added to a spray bottle with water (1 liter). Shake vigorously before use. In the sauna, eucalyptus and cedar essential oils are most often used mixed with water (5–7 drops per 1 liter). Spray in the air or spray on walls and floors, avoiding contact with heating appliances.

For whom: aromatherapy is ideal for those who have problems with cellulite. The effect of essential oils on skin quality has already been proven. It is no coincidence that famous cosmetics manufacturers include them in their weight loss products. After three weeks of topical application, the skin becomes smoother, firmer and more toned. Obese people have a worse sense of smell than normal weight patients. Aromatherapists recommend the use of bergamot essential oil, which has a pronounced antidepressant effect, and also regulates appetite and promotes weight loss.
Limitations: Treatment with essential oils is not recommended for pregnant, lactating women and children under three years of age, the elderly, as well as those who suffer from asthma and allergies.

By the way: when using essential oils externally for the next 12 hours, direct sunlight should be avoided on the body, as there is a risk of increasing the sensitivity of the skin to the sun. It is also worth remembering about possible negative effects that can manifest themselves in the form of irritation of the skin and mucous membranes, tearing, sneezing, coughing, dizziness, palpitations, and odor intolerance.
