In order to use and pay for such services, however, you need to provide the healthcare provider with some necessary information that will allow you to identify the patient. The entire procedure depends on which medical facility you go to. Its course will be different in the case of the NFZ clinic, and different in the case of a private facility, which we use for the first time.
Regarding commercial services, the offered telemedicine advice can usually be used as part of a previously purchased medical package or in the form of a one-time private service. Patients registered in a given center will book an e-visit in a similar way to a traditional appointment. In this case, the medical center has previously collected the patient’s data and has access to their medical records or medical history. However, when we use the services of a selected facility for the first time, it will be necessary to provide your data or set up an account on a dedicated platform.
Telemedicine advice is provided remotely – online or in the form of a phone call.
Patients who want to take advantage of telemedicine services under the National Health Fundthey can do this by contacting the appropriate surgery. The wider and more common access to this form of contact with a doctor is partly the result of the coronavirus epidemic. Telemedicine advice in commercial facilities can be used as part of the purchased service packages or by appointment private e-visit. If you have a package, the medical center may provide the option of making a telemedicine appointment via the phone application, portal account or connection to the hotline. If the patient needs private or non-included teleport advice, he will have to pay for it according to the price list. You pay for telemedicine advice using an online payment system selected by the healthcare provider.

How much do telemedicine advice cost?
The prices of telemedicine services depend on the service provider we choose. You can use teleconsultation reimbursed by the National Health Fund – in such a situation, we do not have to pay for telemedicine advice. When it comes to services offered by commercial clinics or dedicated telemedicine platforms, the costs of e-advice depend on the individual price list.
Some platforms offer telemedicine advice at prices from PLN 50in others the prices start over PLN 100. The final cost also depends on the doctor of which specialization you want to consult. Telemedicine advice offered by some medical centers may turn out to be cheaper than traditional, stationary visits to a doctor’s office.
