Over 400 respondents completed the questionnaire on the health of Poles and Polish women, prepared as part of the National Health Test of Poles. Based on your responses, a report was prepared that shows how Poles care about their health and well-being.

Thanks to the survey, we found out that 26 percent. of respondents suffer from arterial hypertension, but blood pressure is measured regularly by 74%. respondents. Some of them may not know about the problems with hypertension, because according to estimates, up to 15 million Poles may suffer from hypertension.

Interestingly, with age, we perform preventive examinations more often. Only 17 percent. of respondents aged 18-24 in the last year performed a blood cholesterol test. In the age group over 65, such a study was performed by as many as 67%. respondents.

We also don’t do well when it comes to minimizing factors that adversely affect our heart health. 98 percent of respondents feel stress, and 24 percent. he lives it every day. Chronic stress is one of the factors that harms the heart.

Another factor is a poorly balanced diet. Every fourth respondent admitted eating fast food several times a month, and 3% admitted consuming them several times a week. In turn, vegetables are consumed by only one in three Poles, 43 percent. eats vegetables several times a week.
