How can pregnant women dye their hair in the early stages: henna and what kind of paint
If you are expecting a baby and want to tidy up your head, first find out how you can dye your hair for pregnant women. If you exclude the persistent ammonia dye, which has toxic fumes, then less persistent, but more natural dyes can be used to change hair color.
What dye is not harmful to dye your hair during pregnancy?
There are moms who consider the statement that pregnant women should not dye their hair superstition. And being not superstitious, they often resort to this procedure.
And yet there is no benefit to dyeing your hair. Even if some experts state the fact that when painting through the skin only a tiny amount of toxic substances that have a negative effect on the development of the embryo enters the bloodstream, then a woman inhales a lot of vapors of harmful and toxic substances. If you really want to change your hair color, then it’s better to do it:
- Ammonia-free coloring agent. The vapors from it are not as toxic as from the stable analogue containing ammonia.
- Tinted shampoo or tonal balm. The color from them is not persistent and is quickly washed off after washing your hair with shampoo.
- Henna or basma. These are natural dyes that are not only not harmful, but strengthen hair and eliminate dandruff. A mixture of these dyes will give a bronze tint. Separately, henna will give a red color, and basma – black. The longer you keep such a dye on your head, the brighter the color will turn out.
Experts do not recommend dyeing hair while waiting for a baby, not only out of fear for the health of the unborn child, but also because of a sharp change in the level of hormones in a woman. The color of the hair can turn out to be unexpected.
Why not dye your hair in early pregnancy, even with henna?
In the first months of pregnancy, the organs and main systems of the body are formed in the embryo. Any negative impact can affect this development. And if you can wait with painting at least until the second trimester, it is better to do it.
A child is already affected by a bad environment, food from supermarkets with various additives, milk with antibiotics – these are environmental factors that we cannot change. But we can refuse additional exposure to the baby chemistry, even in small quantities.
And if the expectant mother really wants to dye her hair, then this procedure should be carried out as rarely as possible. This will help the selection of a color that is as close as possible to her natural hair. Then the regrown roots will not look untidy.
