Why is it so important not to forget about yourself?

1. Psychological state

If you do not shift the focus from the child, do not do what you love, and simply do not take care of yourself, then burnout will not take long. And this, in turn, leads to depression. At the same time, the unstable psychological state of the mother threatens not only herself, but also the life of the child – his physical safety and psychological health.

Another frightening consequence is the inability of the mother to provide a healthy environment for the full development of the child. One way or another, in disheveled feelings, we do not notice how the mood jumps chaotically, and we become more and more like a barrel of toxic waste, ready to explode. It is obvious that there really is not much free time in the schedule of a young mother. A child’s sleep is precious minutes that she can spend on herself: relax and do what she loves. During the day, in addition to the night, the child rests several times a day, and finding a couple of hours for yourself should not be a problem. But for this you need to adjust the sleep and wakefulness of the baby.

2. Help

It is extremely important to properly distribute roles between spouses. If the father spends a lot of time at work, then he can compensate for his help, for example, with the services of a nanny, a cook and a cleaner. A man should help a woman to remain in the resource, not at the expense of caring for a child.

It is necessary and important to discuss how life together after the birth of a child will look like at the stage of pregnancy planning. Women of the post-Soviet space are united by a common problem – to take everything upon themselves, to take care of both the child and the life at the same time, and to bring themselves to exhaustion. Nutrition tips

Many mothers after childbirth ask the main question: how to get in shape? And the most banal answer is food. During the recovery period, both physical and emotional, it is important to eat right. Follow the basic rules: protein-fat breakfast, water balance, no coffee on an empty stomach, herbal teas, less sugar and buns, more vegetables.

If there are no contraindications, then drink a glass of hot water with lemon on an empty stomach in the morning. The fact is that after pregnancy there are stagnation of bile, and such water will awaken the gallbladder. Be sure to take an analysis to identify vitamin deficiencies, as a rule, these are vitamins D and B. Fatigue, memory problems, and a bad mood indicate their deficiency.
