A bit of history

Here is one example that is widely known in history. The famous philosopher Socrates was famous for distributing his good advice to all those in need. Yes, what can I say, many of them to this day help people live and succeed. This wisest man taught philosophy for free, and even after his death is a kind of ideal, whose quotes are used even by modern youth. Do you know how he died? He was sentenced to death! And all because he was denounced by envious poets and orators of that time. Personal low motives and envy became the driving force for this act. All accusations were frankly far-fetched, however, the opinion of the majority played a role.

Another example of retribution for their good deeds is Joan of Arc. Just remember how selflessly she defended France. And honest people, in turn, simply burned her alive at the stake, declaring a witch. She had to endure this monstrous execution as a reward for her good deeds. And there are countless such stories. French midwife Angelique du Coudreau, Dr. Semmelweis, who once taught doctors how to wash their hands after surgery. Don’t all these cases make you think about why this is happening? Why is it that goodness is not only not thanked, but even punished?

Why is this happening?

It’s very simple, a person who does good deeds is absolutely safe. It’s a safe facility that can’t even stand up for itself. A kind person easily succumbs to claims; in fact, because of his kindness, he cannot be held accountable even for good deeds. It is easy to attack him and present him with a bunch of sins and atrocities. A kind person, in principle, is not ready for an attack, since he does good and good deeds, and he does not even have the thought that he can be punished for this. In fact, he is completely discouraged, as the accusations in this case are completely ridiculous. Even one well-known lawyer once said that the most difficult thing is to protect the innocent. An innocent person by default believes that, in principle, his whole life proves his innocence. It does not even arise that any of the good deeds deserves punishment. Of course, we should not forget about the notorious battle between good and evil. Without implying it, we stand on one of the sides.

Is it worth giving up good deeds altogether?

Of course, all of the above is not an incentive to abandon good deeds. It’s just that if you carry the niche of a good person, you should always be prepared for the fact that evil will attack. Keep doing good, but always be prepared to defend yourself. Be prepared to face absolutely ridiculous and ridiculous accusations. Be prepared that you will have to defend and defend your position. Don’t let evil take you by surprise.

If you do good, then learn to defend it. Remember, if you are attacked for your good, then you are on the right track. It means that you took the side of the forces of light, that means you are doing something that will increase the amount of light and goodness in the whole world. Low souls, who are not capable of something bright and good, experience the most terrible envy. Therefore, you could observe how people who participate in charity, help homeless animals, and care for terminally ill people give in to criticism. The main advice that should be taken out of the situation is that you are definitely on the right track! The main thing is to be careful and know how to protect yourself and your good deeds!
