How and how much to cook chicken meat?

Chicken meat is used in many dishes, and their taste will largely depend on how well it is cooked. Recipes often do not specify a specific cooking time, which can lead to certain difficulties in cooking.

Cooking time for chicken meat may vary depending on:

  1. the age of the chicken;
  2. carcass size;
  3. whether the meat has been frozen or fresh food is used for cooking.

To cook chicken meat, you need to spend:

  • about one hour if homemade chicken is cooked whole;
  • 40 minutes for broiler boiling;
  • 25-30 minutes for chicken meat;
  • 15 minutes when boiling boneless sirloin;
  • about three hours if the chicken is old.

You can determine that the meat is ready by sticking a fork into the carcass. If the fork easily enters the chicken, and when pierced, light juice is released, then the meat is cooked.

Chicken is cooked over medium heat. After the water begins to boil, it is recommended to reduce the heat a little. You can either cover the pot or leave it open.

Chicken meat can also be boiled in a double boiler. In this variation, the chicken takes approximately 45 minutes to cook.

To cook chicken in a multicooker, you must use the “stew” mode. In this case, the whole chicken will cook for about an hour, and the chunks will cook in half an hour.

You can also cook chicken meat in the microwave. With a maximum power of 1000 W, this will take about 25 minutes. 10 minutes after starting to cook the chicken in the microwave, turn it over.
