House cleaning: 7 new life hacks for the kitchen

Few people like to spend a lot of time cleaning. And cleaning the kitchen is also a pleasure. How to quickly tidy up the kitchen and even free up space where there is none?

First of all, the kitchen is the place where food is cooked and then eaten. Don’t hoard everything in the kitchen. Did the child bring toys? Take them away as soon as you leave yourself. There should be no books, magazines, computers or even (!) TVs. Nothing should distract from the cooking process and the absorption of food. Is that music for mood.

After the purchase, immediately place the food in its places so as not to stumble over the bags.

Packages are a big problem too. Obviously, we save money by using plastic shopping bags from supermarkets instead of trash bags, but we also need to store them. A package with packages is not a good way to go. Better to get (or make) a cute bag that matches the style of your kitchen.

The first rule is not to save up the dishes, but to wash them right away. Again, the leftover food has not yet dried, and you will spend much less time than scrubbing dirty dishes from the day before. In addition, washing “fresh” dishes will take less water, which is important if you have a counter. And especially wise housewives say that when washing dishes they get the best ideas and solutions.

Do not forget about the sink, because it is practically the face of your kitchen. Sprinkle baking soda over the entire surface and rub it with a sponge until a paste forms. Then rinse off with water.

Nobody likes to clean the stove. However, this area of the kitchen gets dirty the fastest. The best way is to wipe down the surface immediately after cooking, before the stains have dried. If that doesn’t work, here are a few ways to keep the stove clean:

– wash the ceramic plate with a strong vinegar solution (1 liters of vinegar per 0,2 liter of water);

– for a glossy plate, a product for mirrors and glasses is suitable. Apply it to the surface, wait 10 minutes and wipe with a soft cloth or sponge.

– an excellent remedy for old stains – a melamine sponge, which acts on the principle of an eraser – erases dirt, but at the same time it erases itself. By the way, the sponge is universal, it can clean both shelves and cabinet doors, and even the “apron” from splashes.

But this method surpassed all the others: cover the surface of the plate with foil! And when dirt builds up, just throw away the foil and lay a new one.

Of course, a window sill is not a work surface (although it also happens). However, it is also necessary to keep it clean. A lot of dust always accumulates here, and it is noticeable, because this place is well lit most of the day. So we wipe the windowsills with a damp cloth every day. It will take a minute plus add freshness and accuracy.

There should be no rubbish on the windowsill, maximum – indoor plants. Which, by the way, also need care – not only watering, but also removing dust and dirt from the leaves.

Competes with the stove for unwillingness to wash it. Although, if you do this regularly, special efforts will not be required.

The first rule is to get rid of spoiled food in time, then your refrigerator will not be threatened with an unpleasant smell. A good tip is to put a thin paper towel on the vegetable shelf. This way you will be able to store food for longer and protect them from premature decay.

To keep it clean inside, it is enough to wipe the shelves and walls with a solution of water and vinegar, at the same time even a faint smell will disappear. Outside, we wipe the refrigerator with a sponge dipped in soapy water, in no case use abrasives and hard brushes. It is also advisable to wipe the magnets from dust. The rear grille, however, is best cleaned with a vacuum cleaner.

We often throw everything into kitchen cabinets. It’s time to review the content and get rid of the unnecessary. What exactly should go to the trash:

– dishes that have lost their appearance: mugs without handles, cracked plates with chipped edges, knives without a handle;

– wooden shovels, blackened from time to time. Their service life is short, since a huge amount of harmful bacteria accumulates on the tree. If your shoulder blade has cracks and the edge is soaked, go to the trash;

– “beautiful” jars that “will definitely come in handy someday.” Of course, the metal box of tea can be left and stored in it … tea. But the round cans of chips and cartons of milk will definitely not be useful to you. Well, you won’t make so many pencil holders and bird feeders!

In general, each hostess has her own rubble. Approach this task as critically as possible, and you will be surprised how much space you have in your kitchen.

It is best to clean the floor in two stages – with a vacuum cleaner, removing small debris and crumbs, and then with a damp cloth. The more often you wash your kitchen floor, the faster it happens. Don’t wait for more stains to build up to remove them all at once. Here the motto is: what has fallen – immediately pick up, what has dripped – wipe immediately. Teach the whole family to this, save your time and nerves. Let it become a competition – who is the best to keep the floor clean. Children are especially active in the game.

Find the right detergent for your flooring. It is better to wipe linoleum and tiles in the kitchen dry, otherwise stains may remain on the tiles, and linoleum may swell from excess moisture.
