House Bvlgari provides sanitizers to the needy regions of Europe

Bvlgari has already supported doctors fighting the coronavirus in Italy. Now the House has donated a water-alcohol gel of its own production to the regions of Switzerland.

The house of Bvlgari immediately responded to the outbreak of the coronavirus and started the production of a sanitizer.

Having secured supplies to the Neuchâtel hospital network, the House is increasing its pace and production capacity to support several cantons of Switzerland at once.

This was made possible by the ICR perfume factory in Lodi. Unfortunately, it is in Switzerland at the moment that one of the highest rates of morbidity per capita in the world.

“Bvlgari is committed to helping fight, prevent and eradicate the COVID-19 virus. Thanks to our experience in perfumery, we – together with ICR – have created a water-alcohol disinfectant gel that is produced in the factory in Lodi (where our perfumery is usually produced), ”explained Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin, himself a resident of the canton of Neuchâtel.

By the end of April, about 100 hydroalcoholic gels (in 000 ml recyclable bottles) will be transferred and distributed, following Neuchâtel, among the five Swiss cantons most affected by COVID-75, namely Geneva, Vaud, Valais, Basel and Zug.

Bvlgari will also provide support to any other canton that asks for it.

Over the next two months, Bvlgari plans to produce several hundred thousand bottles to support other cantons in Switzerland, as well as countries hit hard by the pandemic.
