😉 Hello everyone! Thank you for choosing the article “Etiquette: hotel rules of conduct for residents” on this site!
Vacationers from countries that were once in the Soviet Union still cause negative emotions among hotel workers, both abroad and at home. For some reason, some of our tourists are sure that it is normal to be rude to the staff, to forget that there are still vacationers nearby.
Sometimes Russian tourists are embarrassing. Once on vacation in Egypt, a tourist from Russia left trash near his sun lounger on the beach. Vacationers made a remark to him, to which they received the answer: “Everything is paid. Let them clean up. ”
In order not to find yourself in the same position and learn how to make a pleasant impression on others, it is enough to follow a few rules of conduct in hotels. The rules of conduct at the hotel can be found at the reception or in the room.
Hotel etiquette
- Do not make noise. Even if you are relaxing with a cheerful company, remember that with noisy behavior you disturb others.
- Be careful not to scatter your belongings. Keep it clean, do not leave food scraps and bottles behind.
- Do not forget that the hotel staff are not your friends and, moreover, they are not your servant. They do everything to make vacationers comfortable and solve your problems. This is their job. But, it is not the responsibility of the staff to grovel in front of the guests.
- Forget the dismissive tone on vacation. Be kind and polite to everyone. This will not spoil your rest, and those around you.
- Always remember that abroad, you are the face of your country. It is by you that foreigners will judge how vacationers from Russia behave.
- Photo. People disagree about being photographed by strangers. Take selfies where you don’t disturb others.
- Don’t try to bring some of the buffet to your room. It looks indecent. Well-mannered people do not behave like that.
- If neighbors are noisy, don’t make a scandal. Contact your administrator, he will solve the problem.
- Don’t steal! You don’t want to get into the local chronicles, where there will be your photo with a suitcase, from which a robe and towels are falling out. Shampoo and soap can be collected (you paid for it). But it’s better not to waste time on trifles.
- Learn to be grateful and say thank you. It will make life better not only on vacation, but also at home. People are grateful for a job well done. Leave a tip if you are not in Japan (they might get offended there). And you, in turn, will show how educated you are.
- Have honor and dignity!
😉 I hope you have been following these hotel rules for a long time. Enjoy your stay and new impressions!
