Host Irena Ponaroshku: interview 2016

At the French Weekend festival in Yekaterinburg, a well-known TV presenter told Woman’s Day about the pursuit of fashion, Parisian women, about what it is like to be the mother of a boy. She also gave a couple of useful tips about beauty and harmony.

“Do not” drag “last year’s things into the new season!”

The last time I was there a little over five years ago, even before the birth of my son. I really want to get there again, but so far I can’t.

Sure! No one in the world knows how to dress like French women. Parisian women are both simple and unique, they know how to combine incongruous things. Most often they dress in casual styles and it always looks elegant. For me, these women are a mystery. And in France, stripes and polka dots are always popular.

You know, any girl needs to change. The more we change, the more we get to know ourselves, learn something new. The main thing here is to try not to drag into the new season what was fashionable in the past. This is almost always a losing option.

First, read the Woman’s Day website (smiles)! It is also worth subscribing to the personal pages and Instagram of popular artists, presenters, fashion designers, designers. Well, keep an eye on what the fashion houses offer us. You shouldn’t forget about individuality either. Before choosing any item, you need to make sure that it suits you.

“I dreamed of being a gentle mother … But I don’t spoil my son”

Both of us are often busy, so we have to leave him with nannies and grandmothers. I have always dreamed of being a kind and gentle mother, but it so happened that in our family I am the person who says “that’s it!”, “That’s enough!”, “Let’s finish!”. There is someone to pamper my son even without me … Therefore, as far as upbringing is concerned, I am rather an “evil policeman”, and dad is “kind”.

I’m planning. Not now. I hope it will be a girl, and I will finally be able to become the very caring and kind mother whom I have always dreamed of.

The answer is simple – I don’t have time! I always want to spend more time with my family, more often to go somewhere with friends, play more sports, go skiing. Unfortunately, there are only 24 hours in a day. Therefore – I do not have time for everything.

It has always been like this for me – friends often turned to me for different advice: from “tell me where to change the carburetor in the car” to “what days to take contraceptives.” Therefore, you have to read a lot, constantly learn something new, communicate with smart people. Now I don’t run this column, but I work on another TV channel, where experts on various issues come to visit me. Here I am learning from them on the sly.

Sure. I constantly repeat to myself the most important advice – do not worry, and everything will be fine!

Get enough sleep! This is the most important guarantee of beauty. If a woman slept well, then she does not need cosmetics either.

Another good tip from Ponaroshku

On her Instagram, Irena proves by her example how you can manage to be a successful woman, a good mother, and also a beautiful woman. In one of the posts, she published her photo a year after giving birth and with the following text:

“5 years ago, 7 kg overweight. Well, this is so that you understand that the topic of recovery after childbirth has not spared me. In this photo, Seraphim is already 10-11 months old, and I’m still with a belly and 7 extra pounds. Frankly, I was generally sure that right after the birth I would be #like a girl. And for a long time I could not believe that this is all strange, big, loose, heavy ITSELF will not go anywhere. And she waited, waited, when it all would dissolve, melt … But the miracle did not happen. The weight began to decrease only when I started counting calories and exercising. As a result, I got into shape only when Fimka was 2 years old. And all these 2 years I was terribly dissatisfied with myself, with the way the clothes fit, with the way I look in the photographs … Therefore, I have no photos of that period at all – this is what I pulled out a freeze frame from the video. I understand that after giving birth, someone has +25 kg and they are ridiculous about my problems. But I wasn’t funny at all. Thank God, I did not have Instagram then and I did not see all these mothers who directly give birth while standing in a bar with cubes on their stomach, otherwise I would have plunged to the very bottom of postpartum depression. I don’t know if I will be able to get in shape faster next time, if I can find motivation and willpower … “

And more recently, Irena posted another photo – after she got into shape, and in what shape!
