The traditional Lisbon International Food and Drink Show has a new dimension with Horexpo and Tecnoalimentaria.
The main Players in the hospitality and distribution industry in their desire to add value and occupy a place in the country’s food scene, have merged the fair meetings to give rise to Alimentaria & Horexpo Lisbon 2015.
The new project that focuses on offering the visitor the same offer and demand within the panorama of the food industry, the horeca channel and the distributionn, where the sample retains its own identity, in order to help make better and higher quality contacts and business transactions
Alimentaria & Horexpo Lisbon, is on its way to becoming the main platform for conducting transactions and business between Europe, Africa and South America, being a natural bridge for the food trade with the countries of Portuguese influence such as, Brazil, Angola, Cape Verde, Mozambique.
The support and sponsorship of the main associations and institutional bodies such as AHRESP (Association of Hotels, restaurants and the like of Portugal) ADHP (Association of hotel managers of Portugal), FIL (Lisbon International Fair) and Portugal FOODS among others
A meeting place specially designed for restaurants and the food industry to meet their national and international needs for products, supported by an extensive parallel program of activities, where training and promotion play the main role of the gastronomic event.
On November 22, 23 and 24, the global offer presented by the Fair also helps to position the participating companies in a pooling forum for potential buyers, from the professional sector of collective catering, modern and traditional catering, specialized shops, cafes, hotels, bars, etc.
As a prelude to Horexpo, Portugal Agro arrives.
The best of the Portuguese land, arrives in the second edition of Portugal Agro, paying special tribute to the production of the agricultural and agri-food sectors, with the operational participation of the country’s regional and sectoral organizations.
On November 21, 22 and 23, the products from all regions of Portugal, with spaces dedicated to the dissemination and tasting of its gastronomy, leisure activities, animation and entertainment.
There will be an exhibition of products and services for the agricultural sector such as machinery, equipment and applied technologies.
Gastronomy, industry and agriculture united in a week where the Portuguese product takes center stage, and manages to consolidate the figures that at the beginning of this 2015, the Luso government threw, where exports pointed to the figure of 73.000 million euros, almost 45 % of the country’s GDP.
