This species is characterized by small but powerful shrubs with a fairly viable root system. The flower stalks of the plant are strong and can easily hold the fruit during ripening. Harvesting can begin at the end of May. But if you grow strawberries in a greenhouse, then the berries will ripen 2 weeks earlier. In most cases, “Honey” ceases to bear fruit after mid-June.
The berries of the variety are large in size. On average, one strawberry weighs about 30-50 g. The fruits have a regular conical shape and a rich dark red hue. The flesh of the berries is quite dense and juicy. The taste is pleasant sweet and sour, with a pronounced aroma.

Like any other strawberry variety, Honey has its own strengths and weaknesses. The advantages include early maturity, as well as high yield. They remain fresh and attractive for 3 days. Therefore, these strawberries are often grown on an industrial scale.
Another advantage of the plant is its resistance to leaf diseases. But, unfortunately, this strawberry often suffers from diseases of the root system. Therefore, it is recommended to carry out the prevention of such diseases.

The variety has many disadvantages. First of all, this variety is equally bad at tolerating both drought and increased moisture. Therefore, it is necessary to constantly monitor the condition of the soil. Another disadvantage is the short shelf life of the berries. After three days, they lose their attractiveness and juiciness, and also darken.
