Recipe for honey dough for the “Ryzhik” cake
To prepare a delicious and beautiful cake “Ryzhik”, as in the photo, you will need the following products for the cakes:
– 100 grams of butter margarine; – 100 grams of granulated sugar; – 2 tablespoons of lime honey; – 2 eggs; – 2 teaspoons of baking soda; – 2 and ½ cups of flour.
Melt the creamy margarine over low heat, add granulated sugar and, stirring, dissolve. Then add linden honey, melt it and remove the honey-margarine mixture from the heat. Cool it down.
Drive eggs into the cooled mass, stir well. Then add baking soda and put on low heat again. From heating, the soda will begin to rise into foam, so it is necessary to constantly stir, distributing it throughout the mass.
Remove the dishes from the heat and, without waiting for the mixture to cool, add the flour. Knead the dough with a mixer until smooth and refrigerate for an hour.
Preheat the oven to 250C. Divide the dough into 8 balls. On baking paper, roll one of the balls into a crust and place in the oven to bake. Remove the finished cake and put the next one in the oven. Bake the cakes until light golden brown. After cooling, separate them from the paper.
