Homemade masks for thick hair: folk recipes. Video

Not everyone gets thick lush hair from nature. Often this is the result of careful care and various cosmetic procedures. You can also improve the condition of your hair, make your curls stronger and healthier at home. This can be helped by nourishing masks prepared according to folk recipes proven for decades.

Homemade kefir masks are very popular due to their ease of preparation and high efficiency. They accelerate hair growth, make them fuller and thicker, strengthen the roots and help to improve the condition of the scalp. All these properties of masks are due to the presence of vitamins, beneficial bacteria and kefir yeast.

For dry hair, a mask with the following ingredients is ideal:

  • 3 tbsp kefir with a fat content of 3,2%
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • oil solutions of vitamins A and E

Beat the yolk until a thick foam forms, then add kefir with honey to it, drop by drop of vitamins and mix everything thoroughly. Before applying the mask, wash your hair and pat dry with a towel. The kefir mask should be rubbed into the scalp with massaging circular movements. This should be done with great care, especially if the hair is prone to falling out. The remains of the kefir mixture must be distributed over the entire length of the hair, not forgetting to pay attention to the ends. Then put a plastic cap or film on your head and wrap everything on top with a warm towel or flannel cloth. You need to keep the kefir mask for at least an hour. Then you should wash it off with warm water and shampoo and rinse your hair with herbal decoction. To achieve a visible effect, you need to make such a mask at least 2-3 times a week for a month.

For rinsing, it is best to use a decoction of chamomile, nettle or sage. They nourish the hair, restore its structure and soften the scalp. To prepare the broth, 4 tablespoons are required. selected herb and 0,5 l of water

It is better to care for oily hair with a mask of 100 ml of fatty kefir, the juice of one onion, a tablespoon of olive oil and a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil (necessary in order to kill the unpleasant onion smell). All components should be thoroughly mixed until a homogeneous mass is obtained, then rub the composition into the scalp and hair. To prevent the mask from dripping, cover your head with polyethylene. The duration of the procedure should be 30-40 minutes. After that, the mask must be washed off with warm water and shampoo. This composition should be applied to the hair at least twice a week for one and a half months.

Rye bread contains a huge number of trace elements and B vitamins. They are useful not only when taken orally, but also when applied externally. That is why bread hair masks are very popular. They accelerate the growth of hair, strengthen and nourish the roots, restore the natural shine of the curls and make hair thicker and fuller. The effect of the use of such masks is noticeable after a couple of weeks, however, to consolidate it, the procedures should be continued for at least another month.

The simplest nutritional mask can be made without using any other ingredients other than rye bread and water. Pour boiling water over several slices of bread so that they are completely submerged under the water.

It takes at least an hour and a half for the bread to soften properly, but it is better to let it stand in a warm place at least overnight.

In the morning, squeeze the water through cheesecloth, and rub the resulting bread into the scalp. After 20-30 minutes, the mask must be washed off, and then rinsed with the water in which the bread lay. After 5 minutes, the hair can be washed in the usual way using shampoo.

Even more useful will be a bread mask with the addition of egg yolk, a tablespoon of warm liquid honey and a teaspoon of mustard powder. As in the previous recipe, pour boiling water over the bread and let it brew for at least one and a half to two hours. After that, squeeze it through cheesecloth, mix with the rest of the components and apply to the scalp. Keep such a mask under plastic and a towel for 30-40 minutes. Then you should rinse it off with warm water (in hot water, the egg will curdle, and it will be difficult to remove it from the hair) and rinse with herbal decoction.

If the mask is too thick, you can dilute it with a little water, in which you soaked the bread.

Masks prepared with the addition of burdock oil are also very popular. They make hair thicker, stimulate hair growth, prevent hair loss and restore natural strength and shine to curls. The results from the use of such masks are noticeable after 5-7 procedures, but you can continue to do them after that.

Burdock oil increases hair density by itself, so you can simply rub it into the scalp 2-3 times a week

Even without additional components, the oil will be beneficial. However, it will be more effective if you add other nutritional ingredients to it.

A mask from a dining room 15 ml of burdock oil, egg yolk, 5 drops of lemon juice and a teaspoon of liquid propolis extract has a good effect. All components should be mixed until a homogeneous mass is formed, heated to a temperature of 36–37 degrees and rubbed into the scalp with circular massage movements. Having wrapped your head in plastic and a towel, you should wait an hour, then wash off the nutrient composition with the help of your usual shampoo.
