A modern woman usually does not have enough time to make homemade desserts. At such moments, quick and simple recipes for sweets come to the rescue. For example, making homemade Minutka cookies will take only 45-60 minutes and a minimum of ingredients.

Ingredients for Minutka homemade cookies

– sour cream (15–20% fat) – 150 g;

– butter – 200 g;

– flour – 500 g;

– baking powder – 0,5-1 tsp;

– a pinch of salt; – apricot jam – 200 g;

– cherry jam – 200 g;

– vegetable oil – 1 tbsp. a spoon;

– icing sugar.

If you want the cookies not too sweet, you can use sour jam. For example, lemon or orange

Making dough for homemade cookies “Minutka”

Put the prepared and slightly melted butter in a deep bowl, add sour cream, a pinch of salt. Beat thoroughly with a mixer until smooth.

It is best to use sour cream at room temperature. This must be taken care of in advance.

Sift flour twice through a sieve, mix it with baking powder. To the butter-sour cream mass, little by little add flour, thoroughly mixing the future dough with a spoon (preferably a wooden one).

Instead of baking powder, you can use baking soda quenched with vinegar or lemon juice. It is important not to overdo it with baking soda, as it can impart an unpleasant odor to the dough.

When the dough is thick enough, transfer it to a floured table and start kneading. Sometimes you need less flour, and sometimes more than indicated in the recipe. You need to remember this and not lay all the flour at once. It should be administered in small portions. After all, you can add more flour, but you can’t do anything with too “dense” dough.

When the dough becomes elastic and begins to lag behind your hands, it’s done. It is necessary to form a ball from the dough, pack it in cling film and send it to the freezer for 30 minutes.

Technique for making cookies “Minutka”

While the dough is cooling, you need to prepare a baking sheet: cover it with parchment paper, grease the parchment paper with vegetable oil. Remove the dough from the freezer and roll it out thinly. The thickness of the dough should be 5-6 millimeters. Cut the dough into 5×5 cm squares.

You can first align the edges of the dough layer to get a rectangle with even sides.

Put a little jam in the middle of each square, and then gently pinch two opposite edges of the square.

The jam must be thick enough so that it does not leak out of the dough when making cookies.

Put delicious homemade cookies on a prepared baking sheet and bake for 15–20 minutes at 180 degrees. Sprinkle the hot biscuits generously with powdered sugar.
