Recipe for a delicious homemade nut cake
If you want to truly surprise your guests and loved ones, then this is exactly the recipe you need. When the cake is cut into pieces, a surprise awaits them.
To prepare the “Nut” cake you will need: – 1,5 cups of sugar; – 2 eggs; – 150 g butter; – 100 g sour cream; – 2,5 cups flour; – ¼ teaspoon of baking soda, quenched with vinegar; – 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder; – 2 glasses of milk; – salt on the tip of the knife. For decoration: – 1 waffle; – chopped nuts.
Mash 2/3 cup sugar with 1 egg. Add 100 g softened butter, sour cream and salt. Quench the soda with vinegar and add to the mass, mix everything thoroughly again.
To make the cake airy, sift the flour and add to the mixture. Knead the dough. The finished dough should not stick to your hands, but it should be elastic and soft. Cut the finished dough into pieces, roll sausages out of them and cut into small pieces, from which roll into balls the size of hazelnuts.
Prepared “nuts” should be baked in the oven until light yellow. The main condition is that they should not be very ruddy.
While the nuts are baking, prepare the cream. To do this, grind the remaining sugar with 1 egg, 3 tablespoons of flour and cocoa. Stir the mixture thoroughly. Then boil the milk and pour it into the mass in small portions. Stir the mixture quickly and gently again. After that, put the mass on fire. While stirring continuously, bring the cream until thick. Then remove from heat and cool. Add 50 g of butter to the warm cream, stir and pour the baked “nuts” into the thickening mass.
