Homemade beer liquor – hops and sweetness in one bottle

At the first acquaintance with this liqueur, it is difficult to understand what it is made of. I can’t believe that beer, coffee and vodka can be harmoniously combined in one drink. For lovers of experiments, I suggest making beer liquor at home. The cooking technology is very simple, it will take no more than 15 minutes.

The taste depends on the type of beer. On the basis of dark varieties, a rich black liquor with a characteristic hoppy aroma is obtained. Light beer liqueur is slightly softer in taste and lighter in color. In both cases, against the background of coffee, sharp alcoholic tones are not felt, so even women like beer liqueurs. Sugar is added to taste, lovers of sweet alcohol can increase its proportion. Instead of vodka or alcohol, well-cleaned, odorless moonshine is suitable.

Ingredients:

  • vodka (alcohol 40%) – 0,5 liters;
  • beer (dark or light) – 0,5 liters;
  • sugar – 300-500 grams;
  • instant coffee – 4 teaspoons;
  • vanillin – 2 grams.

Recipe

1. Bring the beer to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly so that the foam does not escape.

2. Remove the pan from the heat, add coffee, sugar and vanilla, then mix well.

3. Cool the mixture to room temperature, add vodka.

4. Filter the liquor through cheesecloth, then pour into bottles for storage and close tightly with stoppers.

5. To improve the taste, it is advisable to keep the drink for 1-2 days in a dark, cool place.
