  1. Beetroot – are helpful in abdominal pain, constipation, flatulence, feeling of a full belly, nausea and intestinal cramps. These vegetables also have a therapeutic effect in obesity, kidney diseases and constipation due to the fiber they contain. What’s the best way to eat it? Here is the recipe: grate one beetroot on a fine grater and add a teaspoon of ground cumin, a teaspoon of oil and a pinch of salt. We mix everything and eat on an empty stomach. If we eat regularly, the problem will pass after a few days.
  2. Groats – if we modify our diet to one that is helpful in combating constipation, groats should not be missing from it. They support bowel movements thanks to the fiber they contain. At the same time, the fiber contained in the groats is rich in cellulose, lignin and hemicellulose, which remove constipation and reduce weight gain. For the effect to be effective, it is recommended to consume about 25-30 g of fiber per day.
  3. Herbs – herbal preparations and infusions effective in the treatment of constipation should contain: chamomile, cumin, angelica, lemon balm, licorice, milk thistle, bitter dress. They have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and regulating the tone of the muscles of the digestive tract. However, you should remember not to use them for too long, due to the possibility of the body getting used to their operation. Ultimately, their use may not bring results. It is best to use herbal preparations for a week, take a break for another week and return again.
  4. Exercises – physical activity helps to maintain efficient bowel function. Start exercising regularly, swimming, running or cycling.
  5. liquids – to facilitate defecation, it is necessary to provide large amounts of fluids, preferably non-carbonated water, of which we should drink up to 2 liters a day.
  6. strawberries – these fruits are a source of an enzyme that facilitates digestion – bromelain. In addition, they contain dietary fiber that regulates the work of the intestines and facilitates the excretion of toxins from the body. Strawberries also have a mild laxative and diuretic effect.
  7. seed linen – for years it has been known as a natural laxative that stimulates intestinal peristalsis. The recommended form of taking linseed is drinking an infusion that you can make yourself. To do this, pour a tablespoon of ground flaxseed into a glass of warm water and leave for about 2-3 hours. The drink is best drunk before bedtime so that the body can cleanse itself in the morning.
  8. Apples – they contain very large amounts of fiber, thanks to which they are helpful in regulating the work of the intestines. You can eat raw as well as dried apples.
  9. Plums – just like apples, the fiber they contain is a very helpful weapon in the fight against constipation. Eating plums will allow us to get regular bowel movements.
