According to a study by the American Academy of Dermatology, children between the ages of 6 and 11 do not need to bathe every day. 1-2 baths a week should be sufficient, unless the kids get dirty earlier than normal, e.g. in the case of increased physical activity.
According to American scientists, more frequent showering is advisable only after children enter adolescence.

Polish pediatricians think similarly. According to doctors, there has been a significant change in the approach to hygiene of adolescents and children over the last few years. In the past, the need for daily bathing was strongly emphasized, now the beneficial effect of good bacteria in our body, which we get rid of through daily washing, was emphasized.
