- Bieluń – an extremely dangerous plant. More often consumed not by chance, but by choice. Therefore, teenagers in particular should be warned against it. It causes stimulation of the nervous system, which results in auditory and visual hallucinations. Earlier agitation can even cause an attack of rage, which is very difficult to control. Ingestion may be fatal.
- Nightmare nightshade – poisoning is especially common in young children who treat small fruits as edible. They contain tropane alkaloids, which are also found in other parts of the plant, including the leaves and its root. Ingestion of one leaf of this plant by an adult can cause its death. Unfortunately, the first symptoms of poisoning appear after a few minutes. Symptoms include drooling, vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain, cramps, convulsions, and ultimately death.
