The hip joint dislocates as a result of a significant force acting on it, as it is a compact joint, reinforced with a strong capsule and strong ligaments. In addition to dislocation, these forces cause significant damage to the articular surfaces and the surrounding soft tissues.
Dislocations occur in young people, mostly men, in the most active period of their life, as a result of falls from a height, in traffic accidents.
Patients always require hospital treatment and quick joint setting under general anesthesia. We transport patients with hip dislocation in the supine position. The limb is immobilized during transport.
