The maternity hospital of the city of Vladivostok received a real hero – a young mother gave birth to a boy: the child’s height is 59 cm, and the weight is 5 kg 200 g. Employees of the maternity ward said that such a child is born one in 1,5 thousand.
“The boy’s mother is a teacher at one of Vladivostok’s universities, and this is her second child,” said the midwife who delivered the baby.
According to her, the mother and the child are doing well, they plan to be discharged in five days.
“According to statistics, the appearance of such children-heroes is a rarity, one in 1,5 thousand. But in our maternity hospital over the past two months, this is the third case of the birth of babies weighing more than 5 kilograms, all three are boys, ”added the agency’s interlocutor.
