You will need: – 500 g of herring fillets; – 100 g of butter; – 1 medium onion; – 3 hard-boiled eggs; – 2 tablespoons of olive oil; – lemon juice; – black pepper and salt to taste.
Grind all ingredients in a blender until smooth. According to the recipe, butter should be at room temperature. Add salt, pepper, lemon juice and olive oil to taste and stir again. Put the prepared herring oil in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

Rinse the herring in cold water, peel, cut and remove the bones. Cut all the ingredients into pieces and grind together with the herring fillets in a blender to a puree consistency. Add spices to your taste to the resulting mass and refrigerate for an hour.

Spicy Herring Oil with Mustard
You will need: – 1 herring (salted); – 1 egg; – 200 g of butter; – 1 teaspoon of mustard; – 2 tablespoons of lemon juice; – dill (to taste).
Remove the butter from the refrigerator and leave to soften at room temperature. Peel the herring and remove all bones. Finely chop the resulting herring fillet with a knife. Peel and mash the hard-boiled egg with a fork. Add softened butter, herring and mustard to the egg. Stir the mixture thoroughly, add lemon juice and mix again.
