Hereditary dystrophy of the retina – a disease that takes away sight from the youngest [WIDEO]

Hereditary retinal dystrophies are rare ophthalmic diseases with a genetic background. In the course of IRD, there is a progressive degeneration of the photoreceptors in the retina, which may lead to, among others, disturbances in twilight and night vision, decreased visual acuity or color perception.
