Here come the red ones

It is known that colors affect us in different ways: some excite, others soothe.

A joint experiment of American and German researchers led by Dr. Andrew Elliot (Andrew Elliot) showed that we often perceive red as a warning. Having received a red “signal”, we involuntarily “slow down”, choose simpler tasks and, in general, reduce the level of our own claims. The researchers conclude: in those classes where a large number of measured, painstaking efforts are required to achieve success, the red color will not become an assistant.
