Pregnancy is not a disease, but it is still a period of life where it does not hurt to be careful. Future mothers should eat healthy, rest and avoid stressful situations. It is worth taking care of your health and that of your unborn child in a special way. Sometimes, for the sake of the baby, a woman should give up the things she wants. What to avoid during pregnancy

  1. Excessive effort – that is lifting, which can be a threat to both the mother and the child growing inside her. Excessive overload can contribute to malaise, joint and back pain, and sometimes even bleeding, miscarriage and pain in individual organs.
  2. Sleeping in the supine position – going to sleep during pregnancy is not an easy task, which is why many mothers choose the supine position. It may seem comfortable, but it is not beneficial for the woman’s body at all. The uterus, which is constantly expanding, will begin to compress the spine and intestines over time. This can result in back pain and even hemorrhoids. The best position to sleep in pregnancy is to lie on your left side.
  3. Solarium and some treatments at the beautician – when it comes to visits to the beautician, expectant mothers cannot undergo treatments using negative pressure, electricity or heat. Nevertheless, they can benefit from treatments based on delicate cosmetics that have a moisturizing and relaxing effect. In addition, the solarium is forbidden, as well as too long basking in the sun. This type of practice weakens the body and leads to dehydration, so you should walk in partial shade and use sunscreen.
  4. hot baths – Lying in the tub for too long increases the risk of fainting. Of course, you can lie in the bathtub, it is even recommended, but the water should not be too hot. Such prolonged exposure to high temperatures can lead to vasodilation and miscarriage.
  5. Stress – during stress reactions, blood flow increases, iron levels decrease, and therefore it is easier to miscarry. The mother’s nervousness also has a negative effect on the child’s brain and musculoskeletal system. That is why you need to avoid stressful situations and focus on relaxation.
  6. of stimulants – although giving up alcohol and cigarettes seems to be something obvious, it is worth mentioning. Mom should not even allow herself half a glass of wine, because alcohol can impair the development of the child. Smoking is the greatest evil – it can even lead to birth defects.
  7. Coke – all sugary, artificial sodas are not recommended during pregnancy. Their excessive consumption can lead to premature birth, and energy drinks with caffeine content can limit the growth of the child.
  8. Working in the garden without gloves – this may be quite a surprising principle, but the soil is a habitat for bacteria, in which, for example, toxoplasmosis occurs. Although it is not dangerous for the woman, it can be dangerous for the fetus. Wearing gloves will reduce this risk.
