Herbal masks for dry skin

You will need:

  • camomile
  • mint
  • plantain
  • starch
  • nutritious cream
  • water
  • mother and stepmother
  • cream
  • elderberry flowers
  • boiling water
  • oat flakes
  • milk

Is your skin flaking? Prepare a soothing mask. To do this, mix equal amounts of chamomile, mint and plantain (1 teaspoon each). Pour the mixture with 250 ml of boiling water, put the container on low heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain the broth, add 1 teaspoon of potato starch. Lubricate the skin with a nourishing cream, and then apply the mask. After 15 minutes, rinse off the remnants of the herbal mask with water, again smear your face with a nourishing cream.

You can also make a mask from the mother and stepmother. Mix 2 tablespoons of leaves with 2 tablespoons of cream. Apply the resulting mixture to your face for 15–20 minutes.

This remedy can also be used on chapped hands.

Use elderberry to moisturize and tone dry skin. Pour 2 teaspoons of dried flowers with 100 ml of boiling water. Close the container tightly, strain after 30 minutes. Boil oatmeal in milk, add 1 tablespoon of oatmeal to the infusion. Apply a thick layer of warm mask to the skin.

Herbal masks for oily skin

You will need:

  • Yarrow
  • boiling water
  • or- mint leaves
  • boiling water
  • potato starch
  • or- sorrel leaves
  • egg white

If your pores are enlarged, use yarrow. Pour 1 tablespoon of inflorescences with a small amount of boiling water (you should get a gruel). Apply the resulting mixture to problem areas of the skin for 10 minutes.

Make a refreshing mint mask. Pour 1 ml of boiling water over 250 tablespoon of dry mint leaves. After 30 minutes, strain the resulting infusion, add potato starch. Apply the mask to your face for 20 minutes.

You can also use a herbal mask with a whitening effect.

To prepare it, mix 2 tablespoons of sorrel leaves with beaten egg white. Apply the resulting product to your face for 15 minutes.

Herbal remedies for normal skin

You will need:

  • dry green peas
  • milk serum
  • weak tea or herbal decoction
  • or – aloe juice
  • oat flakes
  • or – St. John’s wort leaves
  • nettle leaves
  • cream
  • lemon juice

If you notice that wrinkles start to appear, use a mask made from peas. Mix 2 tablespoons of dry green peas with the same volume of whey. Apply the resulting mixture with a cotton pad on your face for 20 minutes.

It is better to remove the remnants of the mask with a weak tea or a decoction made from calendula or a string

You can even out the complexion using the following tool. Mix a tablespoon of aloe juice with 2 tablespoons of crushed oatmeal. Apply the resulting mass to your face for 15 minutes.

You can give your skin a healthy look with a mask prepared on the basis of St. John’s wort. Mix fresh leaves of St. John’s wort and nettle in equal proportions. Grind in a blender, add 2 tablespoons of sour cream and a teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply the product to the skin for a few minutes. This remedy must be used in the winter season, as it is in the winter that the skin lacks vitamins and elements.
