Henryka Krzywonos rocked Facebook. An anti-communist opposition activist said she was struggling with a serious illness. Although the situation is not pleasant, the 69-year-old does not lose faith in the final success. Numerous wishes for recovery appeared under her entry.
Henryka Krzywonos – who is this?
Henryka Krzywonos is one of the faces of the Solidarity strike of August 1980 on the coast. She initiated a strike of Gdańsk public transport, stopping the tram she was driving. She then went to the Inter-Enterprise Strike Committee, which coordinated workers’ protests. She was also a signatory of the August Agreements, which led, inter alia, to legalize “Solidarity”.

The oppositionist informed about her struggle with the disease via social media. A photo of him posing against a black griffin is attached to the entry — symbol of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and in a characteristic headscarf.
«I have been constantly asking myself where this headgear comes from, whether I am styling myself for the sixties. Therefore, I reply that it is not fashion, but cancer. Yes, I struggle with this serious disease, I don’t feel sorry for myself, I work and I don’t give up. Today cancer is not a sentence, and faith works miracles » — writes on social media Krzywonos.
As the woman adds, the disease also showed how many friends she has around her.

«You will chase away this nasty»
Krzywonos’s entry caused a stir on the Internet, and the comments under her post are filled with wishes to recover and overcome the oncological disease. «You will win. I’m sure of it” — writes Marshal Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska. «Take care, Beloved Henio» — is already a MEP Robert Biedroń. «Henio, I hug you tightly. I have no doubt that you will chase away this nasty » — is echoed by the MP Agnieszka Pomaska.
