Hemp – hemp oil is obtained from them
It is commonly believed that there is only one type of cannabis – cannabis (Cannabis sativa L. var. indicates). They gained their popularity mainly due to their use, mainly hallucinogenic and therapeutic. It should not be forgotten that hemp also belongs to this species (Cannabis sativa L. var. sativa), also known as fibrous, from which the oil is obtained. Hemp is classified as a herb and has long, thin flowers and pointed leaves. In Poland, it has been used for many years as an industrial plant from which fibers and seeds are obtained.
Of all the active ingredients found in cannabis, the greatest interest is aroused phytocannabinoids. There are already over 70 different phytocannabinoids known, but the most important compounds belonging to this group are delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ-9-THC, often written as THC), cannabidiol (CBD), cannabidiolic acid (CBDA), cannabinool (CBN) and cannabigerol (CBG).

Hemp oil from hemp seeds – characteristics
Hemp seed oil is obtained from legal hemp plantations. It is cold pressed at 40 degrees C. It has an earthy flavor and aroma with a hint of nuts or sunflower seeds. Due to its consistency and properties, it is not recommended to heat the oil or fry it. It should only be eaten rawas it is. Then it retains its healing properties valuable to health. After opening, it may become rancid, therefore it should be stored in the refrigerator and consumed within a maximum of 3 months.
From a botanical point of view, hemp seeds are small nuts and therefore oil seeds. They are surrounded by a brownish-gray, thin and glassy shell. They are 3-4 mm thick and 1000 seeds weigh between 15 and 20 grams. About 1000 kg of hemp seeds can be harvested from one hectare of cultivated area, from which approximately 350 liters of hemp oil can be obtained.
Hemp seeds are an amazing bomb of nutrients and vitamins necessary for the proper functioning of the human body. They contain approx. 35% fat, of which almost 90% are unsaturated fatty acids. In addition, the seeds contain carbohydrates, protein, niacin and vitamins E, B1, B2, B6, calcium, iron, magnesium and potassium, and the rare vitamin K. They also contain phytoestrogens, flavonoids, lignans and phytosterols. Hemp oil also contains γ-linolenic acid (GLA), which when consumed has many health benefits, but is not found in all vegetable oils. The shelled seeds are rich source of dietary fibers. The oil obtained from the seeds contains over 80% of polyunsaturated fatty acids. Of all the plants, hemp seeds have the highest content of essential fatty acids. Generally speaking, there is no other plant that contains 80-85% of the total fat content of unsaturated fatty acids. Hemp oil is a valuable rarity among vegetable oils. The ratio of essential omega-6 acid to omega-3 acid is optimal at 3: 1. Hemp seeds and hemp oil are among the products that best supply omega-3 acid.

- has a diuretic effect,
- helps to maintain the hormonal balance at the appropriate level,

It is important that hemp oil obtained from hemp seeds is not the same as other oil products obtained from this plant. Hemp oil from hemp flowers (hemp oil) – characteristics
Hemp oil, in addition to being obtained from hemp seeds, is also made from its flowers. Once the plants are mature, they are harvested and processed. Flowers are used to obtain terpenes and cannabinoids (CBD) – chemical compounds with therapeutic properties. A compound recognized by scientists as the strongest medicinal substance marijuana and hemp. The production process uses the supercritical CO2 extraction method. This is how CBD oil is produced, a preparation rich in the complex of cannabinoids and terpenes found in the cannabis plant. CBD oil has no psychoactive properties, so it does not affect the state of mind and psyche of a person.
The cannabinoids found in the hemp oil obtained from the hemp flowers penetrate the body and affect the human endocannabinoid system (ECS). This system mainly consists of two receptors (known as CB1 and CB2). The encannabinoid system influences the regulation of the human immune system, metabolism, appetite, memory and mood. Hemp oil – how to apply?

The marijuana hemp oil is sourced from the same plant as CBD oil and seed oil, but from a different strain of Cannabis indica. It is made of its flowers. Marijuana Oil due to the high content of THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol), which is a strongly psychoactive (narcotic) compound and illegal in Poland.
