Hemp flower oil is extracted from the hemp plant. They can be legally grown throughout the European Union. They have nothing to do with regular marijuana. Oils and preparations made from them do not contain THC. So they have nothing to do with the addictive ingredient in marijuana. You can buy them in stores and pharmacies. – You have to distinguish between cannabis (Cannabis sativa) and cannabis (certain species of cannabis other than fibrous), which are illegal and have a psychoactive effect, said Prof. Maria Władyka – Przybylak, research director at the Institute of Natural Fibers and Medicinal Plants in Poznań at this year’s conference in Warsaw. Hemp has grown in Poland for hundreds of years. They are very easy to breed and do not require special care, e.g. fertilization. In addition, the authorities of the European Union encourage their cultivation by offering subsidies to farmers who decide to grow hemp.

2/7 Mylimy CBD z THC

Cannabidiol (CBD) and cannabinool (CBN) are mainly found in cannabis. Many of us, unfortunately also doctors among them, confuse CBD with THC, which is actually psychoactive. For the unconvinced, we quote the statement of prof. Iwona Wawer from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Medical University of Warsaw, who said at a conference in Warsaw: “The action of CBD and THC is completely different. While THC acts as an agonist of nerve cell receptors, CBD is an antagonist. This means that it is antipsychotic and has a positive effect on anxiety and depression. ‘ Hemp flower oil is rich in CBD. Dr Ewa Woydyłło-Osiatyńska, addiction therapist with many years of experience associated with the Fundacja im. Stefan Batory, adds: “Although associated with the drug, cannabidiol (CBD) has the opposite effect, it can increase the effectiveness of treatment of many addictions, such as alcoholism, drug addiction and drug addiction.”

3/ 7 It’s not a drug

Hemp comes in many different species. They contain over 80 types of cannabinoids. And only one species – cannabis is rich in tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which has a psychoactive effect. Hemp flower oil is obtained from a completely different species. And not only does hemp do not contain even one percent of THC, but only those varieties with a maximum of 0,3 percent can be legally grown in EU countries. THC. So there is nothing to be afraid of. In addition, while the topic of hemp oil, medical marijuana, etc. has been very buoyant for two years, the truth is that this year marks 20 years since the EU officially approved the cultivation of hemp.

4/ 7 Omega-6 and omega-3

The effect of hemp flower oil is even stronger than that of seed oil. Among the approx. 500 organic substances it contains, almost 100 are unique compounds found only in hemp. The most important is of course the aforementioned cannabidiol, but apart from CBD, this oil contains other valuable substances, e.g. essential fatty acids (NNTK). Especially valuable omega-6 and omega-3 in the perfect proportion of 3: 1. Cannabis sativa contains as much as 75-80 percent. EFA. This is why hemp flower oil has an anti-inflammatory effect. And it can be part of an antiatherosclerotic diet. This is good news, especially today, when it is known that more and more marine fish are contaminated with mercury. Cannabidiol (CBD) and delta9-tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV) in hemp flower oil can regulate blood glucose and fat levels. This is good news for patients with type 2 diabetes, i.e. 90 percent. diabetics and for those who have a problem with lowering the level of the so-called bad cholesterol.

5/ 7 Cannabis and Oncology

The cannabidiol (CBD) contained in hemp oil has a relieving effect on neoplastic and neuropathic pain. And in patients undergoing chemotherapy, it reduces the gag reflex and stimulates the appetite. Preparations containing cannabinoids may be useful in the treatment of pain in patients with advanced cancers as well as with other diseases as a complementary treatment (when used alone, they do not work so well, but they work well in combination with painkillers from the opioid group). This is confirmed by specialists in anaesthesiology and palliative medicine. The Warsaw hospice even launched a consultation point informing about the therapeutic use of marijuana. – Seasoning cannabidiol with the “mouth” of marijuana does not make sense – says prof. Stanisław Czuczwar, pharmacologist of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

6/ 7 Supports the treatment of many diseases

Hemp flower oil is rich in (CBD). It is this cannabidiol that has neuroactive, neuroprotective, and antipsychotic properties. Therefore, it is used in the prevention and therapy supporting the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. Research shows that it is beneficial for patients suffering from epilepsy, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s. About the fact that it supports psychiatric treatment, incl. depression and addiction, we mentioned above. Dr. Marek Bachański, who treated children suffering from severe drug-resistant epilepsy at the Children’s Memorial Health Institute with medical marijuana, talks about cases of patients who have been greatly helped by such therapy, and the frequency of epileptic seizures has decreased by 30-80%. The use of hemp flower oil in difficult to treat diseases such as colitis and Crohn’s disease has also already been scientifically confirmed. In people with inflammatory bowel diseases, the intestinal mucosa is leaky and bacteria penetrate deeper tissues. The British Pharmacological Society in London has conducted a study of the effects of cannabidiol. It turned out that CBD strengthens the intestinal mucosa and helps it restore protective functions impaired by the disease.

7/ 7 No side effects

Finally, what needs to be emphasized is that cannabidiol (CBD) does not cause side effects even in high doses, unlike THC, which can cause side effects even in small amounts. Hemp flower oil contains CBD and is devoid (or has only trace amounts – less than 0,2%) of psychoactive THC. So it must be clearly said: it is not intoxicating and not addictive. In addition, it does not cause side effects, thanks to which hemp flower oil is used by a wide group of patients.
