Hellinger arrangements

According to Bert Hellinger, people in their daily lives are controlled not only by reason, motives and situational feelings, but by a field like gravitational or electromagnetic — a generic field, a field of the history of his family’s family, where all significant (primarily problematic) events with his relatives in the past.

The following laws apply in this field:

• Ownership law. When a person enters some system, some collective, he takes into account the laws of this system the more, the more important this system is to him. For a child, belonging to the system of the genus is the highest good, therefore, in order to belong to the system, the child is ready to do everything that will be expected of him — see Conformity. Whether all children are equally conformists, who, how and when the child formulates expectations, how the child understands them at different ages, and whether he has a different attitude to these expectations — this is not understood.
• Hierarchy law. Those who logged in first have an advantage over those who log in later. Therefore, there should be not just respect for the elders, but admiration for them.
• The Law of Give and Take. The more we take, the easier we give, the brighter and richer our existence.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​If these laws were ever violated by someone, everyone of this kind suffers from this. But any member of this kind can also correct the situation: by asking for forgiveness and starting to behave well. The ancestral field seems to be not vengeful and forgives everyone. I wonder if one will spoil it all the time, and the other sincerely correct, what will be the result in the end?

How to treat it? How about fairy tales for children? At first, small children believe in Santa Claus, then they do not believe, and then they themselves become Santa Clauses. Fairy tales are a useful thing, and if small children around you are playing around, a good fairy tale will help you. If the fairy tale is stupid and untimely, do not fool your head with it. Adults don’t tell each other fairy tales. The fairy tales of Bert Hellinger have nothing to do with science.

Technology without mysticism

Hellinger constellations are a system of several layers, namely a combination of psychodrama, motor constellations, toponymy, emotional response and strong suggestions, framed by a bright performance from the group.

First layer: psychodrama. Hellinger constellations are a variant of psychodrama, where a participant who wants to analyze his situation chooses deputies representing the characters of a real story. By further observing what is happening from the outside, you can better understand the essence of what is happening and your participation in it, your real contribution, including your mistakes and your provocations.

The second layer is motor constellations. In the constellations that Hellinger arranges, movement is triggered not by mystical, but by quite observable motor fields.

Each body has its own pattern: activity or passivity, attraction or repulsion, straightness or twisting, contraction or expansion. When two people are not far from each other, the characters of their bodies in interaction give one or another vector of movement: “to” or “from”, a change in expansion or twisting. Each new person next to them adds his own vector, a dance of vectors arises, motor fields arise.

Since the substitutes for the characters of the real story are chosen not by chance, but by similarity (the similarity in the nature of the body, the similarity in motor fields), the motor constellations quite realistically demonstrate the real relationships of the participants in the real story.

The fourth layer is emotional reactions and suggestions with the performance. Bert Hellinger invented mass, group psychotherapy, where a female choir is performed in the Greek version. When Gestalt therapists worked, they worked either one-on-one or with a small group of fifteen people at the most, with each participant being quite alone or passive, and had to sit out a lot of time just watching the work with the central character. Hellinger works more interestingly, he says: “You know, this woman has problems, but to help her, the audience needs help.” And five or ten people leave the audience and, in the most vivid way, turning to their feelings, that is, doing their favorite women’s work, begin to play the ancient Greek theater. At the same time, the psychotherapist in an absolutely arbitrary way, almost according to the list, raises the hottest and most painful topics for women that resonate in their hearts. This is the theme of abortion, the theme of children deprived of love, the theme of betrayal and death. These are just four themes on which the whole interest of the female consciousness is generally based. Any topic that a woman does not raise in ninety cases out of a hundred, the psychotherapist reduces to these four topics and no matter what, even if a woman has enuresis, even if she has a belly ache there, in any case, everything will be reduced to betrayal, to unborn children, to death and more. After that, according to the script, all the women are supposed to cry — and they start crying. To do such one-on-one sessions, you just need to be Kashpirovsky, and in the Hellinger script this is done elementarily. And when the final general choir and crying is organized, the pressure organized by the psychotherapist on this woman is launched, the woman is healed — simply as a result of the most powerful group suggestion. In total: the psychotherapist worked his money, the woman received a quick therapeutic effect, she really felt better. But there is a second result: this scenario is attractive for women, like any bright and emotional theater. This is even better than the theater: here each of the forty people is emotionally involved, each can really at least participate in the general choir, and each dreams of getting into the center of this Greek tragedy! Women get this infection in just one session, after which they sign up for the next constellations — and are already in line, because the demand for constellations already exceeds supply. And the more honestly, brightly and beautifully every decent psychotherapist works, the more women do not want to be healthy. They will definitely find a sore in themselves in order to be the main character of the Greek tragedy and so that the choir will bend over it. And the more talented psychotherapists there are, the more women will dream of finding another problem in themselves. Then they infect their girlfriends, saying: “Do you know how cool it is to solve problems there?”, They attract them to this infection, supplying fresh clients to honest psychotherapists. And the amount of infection in the culture of Russia is increasing exponentially.
