Ecological and natural wallpapers
Wallpapers containing paper fibers, textile fibers, cellulose and wood flour and auxiliary substances are considered ecological. They can also contain vegetable fibers, e.g. rushes, palm trees and exotic grasses such as sisal or bamboo. They are handmade with great attention to detail and quality. Thanks to natural materials, these wallpapers “breathe” and regulate the level of humidity in the room. More and more are appearing on the market wallpapers produced from recycled materialssuch as waste paper or wood shavings. An important element is also the glue, which should be ecological, so free of solvents. Water-based adhesives are available for sale, which dry quickly and do not emit an unpleasant odor. The oldest and equally the most natural are paper wallpapers. Made of several layers of paper, they do not attract dust and are free from allergens. Its great advantage is the possibility of removing it from the wall and washing it in the washing machine, after which it can be applied to the wall again.
