- colds and broncho-pulmonary diseases (including tuberculosis, pneumonia, bronchitis and bronchial asthma);
- inflammation of the ovaries and other gynecological diseases;
- oncological diseases.

How the tincture works
Cahors, honey, aloe, which are part of the tincture, contain many useful substances. Let us consider in more detail the medicinal properties of each of the ingredients of the mixture.
Cahors. Often referred to as church wine and used for communion. Cahors improves digestion, helps to normalize metabolism and remove toxins, cleanses the blood. Grape juice flavonoids reduce blood pressure, strengthen the walls of blood vessels and prevent the formation of cholesterol plaques.
Honey. One of the oldest healing products known to mankind. It contains many vitamins and minerals, including potassium, which ensures the smooth functioning of the cardiovascular system, and silicon, which is necessary for cell formation. Honey normalizes metabolism, has bactericidal and regenerating properties, has a beneficial effect on the pancreas, helps with colds and infectious diseases of the upper respiratory tract.
Aloe. A real storehouse of substances necessary to maintain the vital activity of the human body. After conducting a chemical analysis, scientists found that the leaves of this plant contain:
- 20 minerals (zinc, potassium, copper, silicon, manganese, chromium, sodium, iron and others);
- 20 amino acids, including almost all essential ones, that is, those that are necessary for the formation of cells, but are not produced by the body;
- 12 vitamins, including A (beta-carotene), C, E, B1, B2, B3, B12. B vitamins are called beauty vitamins, as they slow down aging and prevent the formation of wrinkles. Vitamin B12 strengthens the walls of blood vessels, with a lack of it, nervous activity is disturbed. The intake of this vitamin is the prevention of the onset of Alzheimer’s disease;
- folic acid. It is found mainly in products of animal origin, so preparations with aloe are especially needed for vegetarians. The presence of this substance is a necessary condition for DNA synthesis during cell division. Folic acid has a beneficial effect on reproductive function, it is recommended to be taken by women planning a pregnancy.
- Aloe juice affects the body at the cellular level. The plant has bactericidal and antiviral properties, promotes wound healing and accelerates cell regeneration. The phytohormones contained in aloe eliminate the consequences of hormonal disruptions, while not disturbing the hormonal balance, if it is within the normal range. Plant juice restores the immunity of the human body (serves as an immunomodulator).
How to choose Cahors. Finding a real Cahors is not as easy as it seems at first glance. For medicine, it is not at all necessary to purchase expensive vintage French wine: ordinary Crimean or any other domestic wine will do. The main thing is that it does not turn out to be fake.
Signs of a good Cahors:
- if the label says “sweet table wine” – this is not Cahors. On the labels of real Cahors, manufacturers indicate: “special wine”, however, such an inscription may be absent;
- Cahors fortress must be at least 16%;
- the sugar content in the drink is not less than 140–200 g/dm³. Less sweet wine cannot be considered Cahors;
- real Cahors is most often packaged in transparent colorless glass bottles. The drink should be clear and have a dark garnet color. There should be no sediment at the bottom of the bottle. If such a wine is diluted with water, it will not become cloudy, and the color will not change;
- Cahors is somewhat thicker than ordinary wine. Shake the drink bottle. If Cahors is real, “tears” form on the walls of the vessel near the neck for a few seconds, otherwise the walls will immediately become clean. Of course, you can see this if the bottle is made of transparent colorless glass. Otherwise, the vessel must be opened, pour a little wine into a glass, scroll in your hands. A good Cahors will leave “tears” on the walls of the glass.
How to choose honey Any natural honey is suitable for tincture, however, preference should be given to light varieties: May (best of all – from acacia), flower, linden is also suitable. Of course, it is most convenient to use liquid honey, but it can be purchased mainly in late spring or summer. During the rest of the year, almost all varieties of honey, except for acacia and chestnut, crystallize.
To determine the quality of liquid honey, you need to scoop it up with a spoon, then wrap it around the axis several times in a horizontal plane. Good ripe honey is “wound” on a spoon like a ribbon, and flows down in continuous viscous streams.
Crystallized honey should be homogeneous, similar in texture to butter. If the crystals are too large, it means that the bees have been overfed with sugar. A liter of ripe honey weighs about 1 kg 400 g.
How to choose aloe. Aloe is a huge genus of plants that includes many species. For us, the most familiar of them is aloe tree, that is, the usual agave, which is in almost every home. But most of the beneficial substances are found in aloe vera.
If we are talking about a tincture for a cancer patient, a patient with tuberculosis, a person prone to allergic reactions, or a child, it is better to look for aloe vera. Its leaves are much larger than those of the tree, and are not green, but bluish-blue in color. In home-grown aloe vera, the weight of one leaf can be 200-700 g. For medicinal purposes, plants are used at least three years old.
Recipes for tinctures for various diseases
For different categories of diseases, cahors, aloe, and honey included in the recipe are mixed in different proportions, but the algorithm for preparing the tincture is the same. The proportion is considered relatively universal: for one part of aloe juice – one part of honey and two parts of Cahors (for 100 g of aloe juice – 100 g of honey and 200 ml of Cahors). Adults should take the medicine 3-4 times a day, a tablespoon half an hour before meals, children over 6 years old – 2 times a day, a teaspoon half an hour before meals.
In order for aloe leaves to contain as many useful substances as possible, watering the plant should be stopped two weeks before preparing the tincture. Cut leaves cannot be washed: you just need to wipe the dust off them with a damp cloth.
Then each leaf is wrapped in a dark cloth and placed on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator, in the vegetable compartment. Back in the middle of the 3th century, Soviet scientists proved that aloe leaves cut and placed in the cold produce substances that promote the speedy regeneration of cells. Aloe is kept in the refrigerator for 5-XNUMX days.
Preparation of tincture begins with mixing Cahors with honey. To make crystallized honey easier to dilute, you can put it in a warm water bath, but you can’t heat it too much, otherwise the healing properties will be lost. The maximum allowable temperature for heating honey is 37°C. The easiest way is not to heat the honey, but to place it in a glass jar with Cahors 10–12 hours before making the tincture and stir occasionally.
When the honey dissolves, the aloe leaves taken out of the refrigerator are crushed with a meat grinder or blender. The resulting mass is either immediately added to the honey-wine mixture, or it is pre-filtered through two layers of gauze (the cake is not thrown away to be used for cosmetic purposes later).
If aloe vera is used, then it is better to cut the peel from the leaves, and add the crushed pulp to the cahors without filtering. This option is ideal for allergy sufferers and children, as aloe peel contains substances that can cause an allergic reaction.
The jar with the resulting mixture is wrapped in a dark cloth and placed on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. If juice with crushed peel is added to the medicine, then after nine days, when the mixture is infused, it is filtered through two layers of gauze. Ready tincture is kept in the refrigerator.

Aloe pomace skin tonic
If aloe juice was used to prepare the tincture, the remaining cake or peel of aloe vera leaves (need to be crushed) can be poured with white wine in a 1: 1 ratio (100 ml of wine per 100 g of cake). The resulting mixture is infused in the refrigerator for 3 weeks.
Then strain the tincture through two layers of gauze and pour into ice molds in such a way as to fill them up to half. Pour fresh cream on top. Keep molds in the freezer. In the morning, half an hour before washing, wipe the face and hands with a cube of frozen tonic, which makes the skin more tender, supple, and prevents the formation of wrinkles.
