This example will teach you how to add information to the header or footer (the top or bottom of every printed page) in Excel.
- Нажмите кнопку Page Layout (Page Layout) tab View (View) to switch to page layout mode.
- Click on the caption Click to add header (Header) to add a header and footer at the top of the page.Tab group activated Header & Tools (Working with footers).
- Нажмите кнопку Current Date (Today’s date) tab Design (Constructor) to add the current date. In the same way, you can add the current time, file name, sheet name, etc.
Note: Excel uses codes to automatically update the header and footer as changes occur in the workbook.
- In the same way, you can add information to the left and right sides of the header. For example, place the cursor on the left side to enter the name of your company.
- Click anywhere else on the sheet to see the header.
Note: On the Advanced tab Design (Constructor) section Options (Options) you can enable a custom header for the first page, or different headers for even and odd pages.
Similarly, you can add information to the footer.
