The crime remains unsolved. It was featured on the television series called “Ghost Adventures.” Countless eyewitness reports state that the ghosts of the family members still lingers in the house.
Brown Grand Theater: According to circulated rumors, Brown Grand Theater located in Concordia, Kansas has a ghost that haunts the theater during opening night. It seats 650 people and was built in 1907.
Moon River Brewing Company: A sports bar serving world-class food and beer in Savannah, Georgia; however, it’s staff members have reported dark figures, physical attacks, and possessions. It was investigated on the hit television series, Ghost Adventures.
St. Augustine Lighthouse: The ghostly figures of two little girls allegedly haunt this century old lighthouse. The two little girls were the blood daughters of the engineer who constructed the structure. In addition, a drifter hung himself from the rafter during the early 1800s. A team of ghost investigators recorded their findings on the television series, Ghost Hunters.
USS Salem CA-139: A ten year old flagship that served John D. Lodge, Thomas S. Gates, Arleigh A. Burke, the Shah of Iran, the President of Lebanon, and the King and Queen of Greece. The USS Salem CA-139 has been coined The Haunted Ship after its share of deaths aboard the ship. For instance, during the 1953 Ionian Earthquake the USS Salem CA-139 served as a hospital ship. As a result, it has been reputed to have ghost hauntings. The ship is home to the Fore River Paranormal Society, which hosts regular ghost tours. It was featured on the television series, Ghost Hunters.
The Stickney House in Bull Valley: The Stickney mansion in Bully Valley, Illinois was built on the premise of George Stickney’s acceptance of spiritualism. It was later renovated and transformed into the local police station. Police have reported strange sounds and happenings in the building. According to urban legend, the King Opera House is haunted by a young Victorian man who died at the hands of an angry father who disapproved of his daughter’s relationship with the estranged young man.
Union Cemetery: The Union Cemetery located in Easton, Connecticut dates back to the seventeenth century. It is regarded as one of the most haunted cemeteries in the United States. Several visitors have photographed orbs, light rods, cytoplasmic mists, and even full apparitions. The most well-known occurrence was from the spirit coined as the “White Lady.”
Chestnut Lodge: The Chestnut Lodge Psychiatric Hospital in Rockville, Maryland, was built during the 1800s as a sanitarium. The institution used psychoanalysis to treat patients, instead of prescriptions. This led to a controversial past that included electroshock treatment and other long-term therapies. Visitors have reported seeing and hearing the cries of the tormented spirits lurking in the building.
The Kemper Arena: Visitors have reported sightings and unexplained sounds in the arena. Most speculate that it’s from former Owen Hart, a WWE wrestler who died in 1999 from a freak accident.
The Lemp Mansion: The Lemp Mansion in St. Louis, Missouri may be considered one of the most haunting buildings in North America; 4 Lemp family members committed suicide, including three who lived in the mansion. Visitors have reported seeing ghostly apparitions, glasses flying from the bar, and pianos playing on its own.
Montana State Prison Museum: The Montana State Prison Museum facility located in Deer Lodge, Montana has a history of violent criminals, executions, and riots. It was built in 1871 and operated until the 1970s. Guests have reported hearing voices and footsteps in different areas of the prison. Most of these occurrences are centralized in the “hole,” a dark and isolated sect of the prison used for solitary confinement.
Little Bighorn National Battlefield: Visitors of this national battlefield in Big Horn County, Montana have reported claims of paranormal activity, including taps on shoulders, apparitions moving out of the corner of their eyes, orb spectacles, and a Native American war cry.
Virginia City: Virginia City is a former ghost town that was renovated into a tourist attraction. Visitors and employees have reported that the saloon and movie theater have ghost hauntings. The town has a violent past and was home to many outlaws.
The Devil’s Tree: The Devil’s Tree, the former headquarters of the Ku Klux Klan in New Jersey, emanates an unnatural warmth where even snow doesn’t accumulate during the dead of winter. The Ku Klux Klan used the Devil’s Tree to lynch people. According to rumors, people who have tried to cut down the tree have died prematurely.
The Essex County Hospital Center: The Essex County Hospital Center in Verona, New Jersey has been reported to have full-body apparitions of former nurses and patients. Some visitors even cite a demonic entity on the premises.
The Brown Mountain Lights: The Brown Mountain Lights in Burke County, North Carolina has a ghostly reputation of orbs radiating from the mountain. According to Cherokee legend, the Brown Mountain Lights date back to the year 1,200, and it’s believed that the orbs are the spirits of Indian maidens.
Prospect Place: Prospect Place in Tinway, Ohio was allegedly the performance site for Satanic rituals. Many Underground Railroad fugitives were apparently killed. Prospect Place was investigated on the television series, Ghost Adventures.

Students and faculty members have reported haunting tales about some portions of the college. In addition, the University is situated in Athens, Ohio, which is one of the most haunted places in the world, according to many paranormal societies.
Edgefield Poorhouse: According to legend, the Edgefield Poorhouse is supposedly haunted. It was a constructed sanitarium built in 1911 and operated as a poorhouse for the mentally challenged. Some cite hearing a woman’s voice reciting nursery rhymes.

The Welches Roadhouse: A two-story house in Welches, Oregon is reputed to be haunted by a woman who committed suicide on the property. She apparently jumped from the second-story home after a man whom she loved was taken into custody.
Belcourt Castle: A chateau in Newport, Oregon that has been a paranormal site for poltergeist activity.
