This two-room apartment was purchased by a young couple. One room, as expected, was given as a bedroom. The second – the living room – has already been combined with the kitchen. The decorators decided not to change the existing layout, but simply to rethink the space in accordance with the lifestyle and wishes of the new owners.

The combination of colors in the interior photo
The new owners of the apartment set several tasks for the decorators. So, they wanted the renovated housing to be as appropriate as possible for their age and pastime. The spouses work a lot, so they even prefer to have lunch and dinner in the city. The house should become a private area that allows you to fully relax. However, in order to be able to have a cup of coffee with a few close friends, a small dining area is still needed.
Decorators proposed the following space concept. The seating area is formed by a soft sofa, a pouf, a coffee table and a pair of console shelves under a plasma TV. The dining group includes a table with two chairs and a kitchen with a small amount of household appliances – a refrigerator and a stove. The only deviation from the canons of minimalism is a display-niche in the center of the kitchen-living room. However, its appearance is also justified: it is a ventilation box that has undergone minor changes.

- Photo 2. Living room after. Not particularly expensive materials were chosen for decoration. The cost of the furniture was not too high. But the owners decided not to save on accessories. So, for the window decoration, a Roman blind made of mixed fabric was used, the pattern on which is made with a metallized thread. Clear geometric lines are somewhat “softened” by an airy canvas made of silvery taffeta.
- Photo 3. Interesting details that unite the space of the kitchen and living room are narrow ceramic panels. They are lined with rectangular tiles with a floral pattern – fluffy dandelions.
- Photo 1. Restraint and conciseness are also inherent in the design of the bathroom. The color scheme fully matches the color scheme of living quarters. To enliven the space of the “wet” zone a little, the decorators used a rather unusual technique: they decorated the walls with prints with red poppies. The images are printed on fabric, placed in frames of a contrasting color and covered with glass.
- Photo 2. The color scheme of the kitchen-living room is simple and at the same time elegant: black furniture against white walls. The coloristic accent is a comfortable sofa with red fabric upholstery that takes center stage in the living room. Accessories enliven the interior: decorative pillows, metal vases and ceramics.
- Photo 3. The previous owners left the kitchen furniture. Its white fronts and black countertop perfectly matched the young couple’s taste. Only the dining group was added to the existing furnishings. The walls were freshened with white paint and dark brown tiles. Here, the same technique is used as in the living room: a narrow ceramic panel with a floral pattern was placed above the tabletop.
