Types of vodka Haoma

Vodka “Khaoma” is an environmentally friendly product. The manufacturer of the strong drink is the Kazakhstan plant “Kokshetau Mineral Waters”, which is part of the international company Asia Waters. The company focuses on the production of products based on mineral water, including strong alcohol. The holding includes its own exploration services and research base. This is one of the giants of the food industry in the former CIS.

Historical reference. The Kokshetau Mineral Waters enterprise was opened in 1991. The company was founded by a group of young geologists who were concerned about the cessation of supplies of mineral water from Russia and the lack of research funding. There was an idea to create a national enterprise that would supply the whole of Kazakhstan with healing drinks.

With great difficulty, it was possible to find several sources that would meet the quality requirements. At first, production was carried out almost by hand. Today, the holding owns three large deposits of natural water, and the company employs more than a thousand people. The plant in Kokshetau was tested for product compliance with international environmental standards and received a certificate from the International Academy of Ecology.

The most environmentally friendly in Kazakhstan

Haoma vodka is based on mineral water, which is delivered to the enterprise daily. It immediately passes through ion-exchange filters and enters the tanks already cleaned to 10 microns. In production, alcohol is used from wheat grown in the northern part of the country. A number of varieties use aromatic spirits on flowers and herbs grown in ecologically clean areas.

The finished product passes through filters filled with quartz sand. As a result, vodka becomes crystal clear. Then the drink is infused for several days and bottled. Products are produced on automated lines of German production. The plant underwent a complete modernization in 2016.

Awards

Over the entire history of its existence, Kazakhstani vodka has received more than three dozen awards, the first of which was awarded at the INTERDRINK 99 exhibition held in Moscow. Of the recent merits, it is worth noting the victory at the Prodexpo 2017 competition. The gold medal was awarded to the Haoma Gold brand.

Interesting Facts

The roots of the name should be sought in ancient Iranian mythology – a divine drink was squeezed out of the plant of the same name and used for religious rites. According to legend, haoma gives strength and clarifies thoughts.
The Kazakhstan plant “KMV” is the absolute leader of the country in the sale of vodka. For 20 years of production, more than 200 million bottles of Haoma have been sold.

Types of vodka Haoma

Haoma Original Borovoe, 40%

The peculiarity of the variety is the healing water resources of the Borovoe spring. The place is considered one of the most environmentally friendly in the region and was called “Kazakh Switzerland”. Dried grapes and milk thistle are added to the composition. Grain-based deluxe alcohol is used.

Haoma Original Zerenda, 40%

The name of the drink was given by the Zerenda spring, which is located in a mountainous area at a depth of 45 m. It contains Alfa grain alcohol and lemon peel. There is no alcohol aggression in the aroma and fruity notes are felt. The aftertaste is characterized by citrus bitterness.

Haoma Original on the mineral water of the Tien Shan region

Water is extracted from a deep well located near the mountain range. The territory belongs to the Almaty Reserve with a unique natural infrastructure. The resources of the spring are valued for their mineral composition and oxygen saturation. The taste is complemented by an extract from dried grapes and an infusion of cereals.

Хаома Silver, 40%

“Silver” was released for the 20th anniversary of the company and refers to premium drinks. The production uses Alfa malt alcohol and water from Kenetkol’s own source. Processing is carried out with minimal technological impact to preserve the mineral composition. Fruit notes can be traced in the aroma of the drink, and cinnamon and ripe cherries give a spicy aftertaste.

Haoma Gold, 40%

In addition to high-quality alcohol and Turan mineral water, the composition includes coffee extract, lemon peel and sugar syrup. This combination gives the drink aroma and aftertaste. The product is infused for seven days, the technology of “golden threads” is used in cleaning.

Хаома Platinum, 40%

The variety is considered the best in the Haoma line. The vodka is passed through fan filters containing silver threads and aged for a week. In the composition – alcohol “Alpha”, sugar syrup and malt infusion. The drink is characterized by perfect transparency and grain aftertaste.
