Hans 1 year CMA warranty: how not to lose the right to service?

One year warranty from Hans

You can count on free troubleshooting within one year after sale. However, to get this opportunity, the following conditions must be met:

  • The client is obliged to present correctly completed warranty card. Lack of a date of sale, model serial number, seller’s signature or stamp may result in a denial of service. If there is no date, the countdown will be from the date of manufacture. To avoid such problems, check the correctness of filling out the coupon, “without leaving the cash desk.”
  • The equipment must be delivered to the installation site in accordance with transportation rules. If something happens along the way, the buyer will be to blame.

The manufacturer also gives a three-month warranty on components. Accessories are items that can be dismantled without the use of tools, such as hoses. For new components installed both during warranty and paid repairs, they also give three months warranty.

Warranty Terms

In the interests of the buyer – immediately after buying a washing machine (SMA), read the instructions. If the user violates the operating rules set out in it, he will have to pay for repairs out of his own pocket, even if the machine breaks down before the expiration of one year.

When the device is removed from the warranty:

  • Violated at least one of the requirements prescribed in the instructions.
  • The product was damaged during transportation, installation or during use.
  • The breakdown occurred due to work overload. So, for example, SMA for domestic purposes cannot be used instead of professional counterparts – in laundries, etc.
  • Unauthorized changes have been made to the design.
  • There is no serial or product number on the product. Or they can’t be separated.
  • The failure occurred due to reasons beyond the control of the manufacturer. For example, natural disasters, power surges, non-compliance of water pressure in the water supply with standards, foreign objects getting inside the machine, etc.
  • Normal wear and tear damage, such as a burnt out lamp or a clogged filter.

It turns out that only cases related to production fall under the guarantee – the manufacturer will eliminate free of charge only breakdowns that occurred through his fault. For example, due to poor assembly or factory defects.

If your CMA is less than a year old and your accessories are less than three months old, you must contact an Authorized Service Center. Please note that by contacting the first available workshop, a private master, or trying to fix the breakdown yourself, you lose the right to free service.
