Hand creams in a travel format, reviews

In winter, our hands especially need proper care, but how can we make ourselves remember to use the cream every day? Woman’s Day uses travel hand creams and moisturizes the skin at home, at work and on the go.

Loccitane, Cherry Extravaganza Hand Cream, 30 ml, RUB 680

– For many years I have developed the habit of having a small hand cream, a pencil with cuticle oil and lip balm everywhere in my purse. These funds may always be needed, and moreover, they need to be used daily!

Expectations: Loccitane has long established itself as one of the best in body care. But hand creams from this brand have been a special love for many years. A long time ago I came across a sample of a cream in a magazine, and I realized that it was love at first sight.

Reality: Having tried hand creams of almost all Loccitane lines (and there are, by the way, more than 15 of them), I settled on the sweetest and most delicate aroma – “Cherry Extravaganza”.

The cherry tree is part of the Provencal landscape. The colors of this tree change with the seasons – crisp white in spring, bright red in summer and light green in autumn.

Flowers for creating a cream are harvested in spring and early summer – the “sweetest” moments in the life of these flowers.

In addition to the aroma, the cream conquers with its lightness, the product does not roll, but moisturizes the skin of the hands well and does not leave greasy marks on the keyboard / phone.

The cream has been tested in winter and summer for more than one season: I use it several times every day – once in the morning in the car, at work and before going to bed at home. Convenient format and very nice tube. Do you need something else in order to want it?

Vichy ideal body cream for hands and nails, 385 rubles

– Recently, a new hand cream from Vichy appeared on store shelves. The volume of the cream is small, and the price for this small volume is almost 400 rubles. But what a design! This miniature pink tube is not hard to get caught up in. However, despite the beautiful design and overpriced, the quality of the product does not cause delight. And the second product that I tested cost a mere penny, less than two hundred rubles, but the result was unexpected, in a good way.

Expectations: the manufacturer promises that Vichy ideal body cream nourishes and restores the skin’s protective barrier, prevents the appearance of age spots, as well as evens skin tone and strengthens nails.

Reality: the cream has a light texture, is quickly absorbed, does not leave a greasy film, but, unfortunately, the moisturizing effect does not last long. But the handles become instantly velvety. Due to their velvety texture, they seem to be moisturized, but they are not. After 30 minutes of application, my hands were dry again. If there is moisture, it is very weak. Barely noticeable. I would like to apply the cream again.

Rating: 5 of 10 points. For such a kid, the price is high. Considering that the moisturizing cream is not very good. For the feel of velvet handles, for quick absorption and good design, I give it a five.

Skinlite, Snail moisturizing hand cream, 195 rubles

Expectations: the manufacturer says that the light silky cream moisturizes, softens and protects the skin, perfectly smoothes wrinkles, improves skin density and accelerates the healing of microcracks. The secret of the snail stimulates the process of skin regeneration, protects cells from destruction and premature aging, prevents the formation of age-related pigmentation, restores the quality of collagen and elastin fibers. Shea butter, jojoba, olive, beeswax, vitamin E and allantoin eliminate flaking and irritation, while anise, calendula, chamomile and rosemary extracts have anti-inflammatory and healing effects.

Reality: the cream was perfect for me! Despite the ridiculous price, the product surprises with its properties, which I have listed above. All the manufacturer’s promises are evident after using the product. After a few days, an impressive result is visible.

In winter, the skin of my hands coarsens and becomes dry from the weather, so this cream is a real godsend! Once I forgot my gloves at home and went into the cold without them, the cream perfectly softened my skin and relieved irritation. And despite the fact that it is thickish, it is absorbed remarkably. At the same time, hydration lasts throughout the day, I apply the product only in the morning and this is quite enough.

Rating: 10 out of 10 points. “Snail” has become a real discovery for me, I advise everyone whose hand skin suffers from a lack of moisture in the winter. This is the case when you get the highest quality for such a low price. I give it ten without hesitation!

Erborian Doudoune hand cream, 750 rubles

– I can’t imagine my life without creams. And especially – creams for hand skin, which is prone to dryness and flaking in me in the autumn-winter period. Therefore, I tried many options, but so far my favorite cream from the mass market segment remained (yes, cheap cosmetics does not mean bad!). Let’s see if the Korean brand Erborian cream will succeed in becoming my new favorite?

Expectation: I expect quality work from the new ward – hydration, nutrition and the absence of side effects. The manufacturers promised that this product is suitable even for sensitive skin prone to allergic reactions. I will say right away that they did not cheat!

Reality: I already said that I became a fan of this Korean brand? I repeat that my acquaintance with this brand took place not so long ago, when I came across a lip balm for testing, from which I was completely delighted. Therefore, when I spotted a jar with a familiar logo, I immediately decided that this time I would test this particular brand.

But first things first! Erborian Doudoune Revitalizing Hand Cream is in a bright sunny 30 ml tube. The most suitable size for any handbag! It was this format that made it possible to take the cream with you everywhere – even when you board the plane, you will not be forced to check in your pet. The cream, enriched with licorice root extract, perfectly moisturizes, nourishes and softens the skin of the hands, restoring its radiance. The product has a light, slightly oily texture, spreads well on the skin, is absorbed in just 5 minutes and does not leave a greasy film. After applying it, the skin of the hands becomes soft and velvety to the touch. And what a scent it has! A mixture of citrus, herb and spice! The feeling that a good perfume was applied to the skin, no less.

Overall, I am very happy with my product. And even the high price for a relatively small volume did not scare me – I will definitely buy a new tube when I finish this one.

Hand cream “Chic”, Mi & ko, 340 rubles

– I have known the organic Russian brand Mi & ko for a long time: I often use shampoos and hair balms of this brand. But hand cream came to me for the first time. And I, of course, gladly decided to test it. Moreover, I liked its main ingredient – rose hips.

Expectations: the manufacturer writes that the “Chic”, Mi & ko cream does not contain essential oils (and therefore is suitable for sensitive skin) and at the same time soothes and regenerates irritated and flaky skin. In general, a great option for our frosts!

Reality: in fact, the cream is really very good (as well as other products of the brand). It is quickly absorbed without leaving greasy streaks and immediately leaves the skin soft and velvety. Also, during its use, I stopped using oil for nails and cuticles, and my manicure looked perfect. Conclusion: “Chic”, Mi & ko also takes care of nails.

The fact that only natural ingredients are used in the cream is also captivating. And yet the product is not tested on animals!

Weleda, pomegranate regenerating hand cream, 760 rubles

– Like many others, I have several hand creams in my arsenal. One is on the work table, the second is on the bedside table, the third is in the bag. The most important thing for me is excellent nutritional and moisturizing characteristics, pleasant aroma and natural composition.

Expectations: Weleda pomegranate cream is claimed as an anti-aging hand care. It regenerates cells, fights free radicals and prevents aging. All this is due to a very rich, mostly natural composition. The list of ingredients includes pomegranate seed oil, sesame oil, shea butter, millet seed extract, butcher’s root and sunflower petals – in general, everything I like.

Reality: I love the whole Weleda pomegranate line. Aroma, texture, hydration – everything is at the highest level. Weleda pomegranate hand cream very well nourishes the skin, quickly copes with dryness and makes the skin of the hands very soft in a matter of seconds. Due to the natural composition, the cream is absorbed rather slowly, but for me this is not a problem. The small tube fits nicely in a bag, but I put it on the bedside table as well as it provides the perfect night care.

Rating: 10 of 10 points. Everything is perfect in it!

La Roche-Posay, Lipikar Xerand revitalizing hand cream, 585 rubles

Expectations: Lipikar hand cream is designed to instantly restore the hydrolipid barrier, soften and protect the skin from aggressive environmental factors. From such a pharmacy product, I look forward to emergency help in caring for my hands. I think Lipikar is great for sos.

Reality: I don’t like pharmaceutical cosmetics for two reasons. First, the smell: natural herbal scents are closer to me. Secondly, the composition: manufacturers of pharmaceutical cosmetics do not disdain silicones, parabens and other chemicals. Nonetheless, La Roche-Posay Hand Cream has proven to be very pleasant in all respects. It almost does not smell, at least its scent does not irritate me. In addition, it is very pleasant to apply to the skin: the cream is quickly absorbed and leaves a feeling of comfort. Quickly relieves dryness and soothes redness. The tuba will not fit in my baby bag, but I think it will be a great family option when traveling. In addition, it is recommended for babies from three years old.

Rating: 10 of 10 points. A good hand cream for the whole family.

Hand cream from Neutrogena Norwegian Formula, from 238 rubles

– A good cream is a vital thing for me (I love well-groomed hands!) And in cold weather one simply cannot do without moisturizing.

Expectations: from each cream I expect one thing – so that the hands look like velvet. Neutrogena Norwegian Formula on the label does not promise me such an effect, but it assures me that the skin will become softer after the first application. The product contains a large amount of glycerin, and therefore instantly nourishes and protects even very dry and chapped skin.

Reality: discreet small bottle with the Norwegian flag. What can I expect from you?

I open the tube and … I have to make some effort to get the contents on my hand. First thoughts – some kind of strange cream. Spoiled? Freeze? But no. It turns out that the product is specially made so thick for the purpose of more economical use (judging by the label, a small bottle is enough for 200 uses!). This is a plus.

I rub the composition with my hands and, without noticing it, I find myself in childhood. Remember the Soviet glycerin-based creams? Fatty and extremely effective – I still buy these, if only I can see in the store.

Neutrogena Norwegian Formula envelops my skin and I immediately begin to feel it soften. This is the result! But wait. After 15 minutes, the cream is still not absorbed. There is an unpleasant feeling of stickiness that haunts me for another 30-40 minutes … This is a minus.

A few hours later I look at my pens. They seem gentle and well-groomed. On the Internet, someone writes that after the cream, you can forget about the edged manicure. Judging by the condition of the cuticle, it is very similar to the truth … Plus again!

Evaluation: By giving points to the remedy, this time I experience an internal dissonance. I like the skin after applying the cream, but the feeling after application leaves much to be desired. The cream costs around 200-300 rubles, it is very economical! ..

I would give the cream 10 out of 10 points for the effect of velvety hands and the ability to sometimes neglect the edged manicure, for the nasty stickiness and long absorption process – 2 out of 10 points, for the price and economy in use – 9 out of 10 points. It turns out that the average score: 7 out of 10 points.
