First of all, let’s understand why the skin of the hands is dry in winter. Sadly, this property is inherent in nature itself. The skin on the palms has a meager hydrolipidic film and on average receives 3-4 times less valuable moisture than, say, the skin of the face. Winter frosts only aggravate the problem, causing irritation, peeling and redness. The indoor air is much drier and hotter in winter, which also has a detrimental effect on the skin. In addition, during this period, our body receives less nutrients.

To reduce the consequences of these problems to a minimum, simple rules for hand skin care will help. First of all, it is necessary to thoroughly wipe your hands with a dry towel after each contact with water and in no case go out into the cold with wet hands. By the way, you should only wash your hands with warm water. Too hot or cold water contributes to the drying and degreasing of the skin. Any household chemicals, even with the content of cosmetic components, have an aggressive effect on our skin. Therefore, it makes sense to get rubber gloves and do any wet work around the house only in them. And most importantly-a nourishing hand cream should always be at hand. It must be used every day in the morning and evening, as well as applied to the skin before going out.

Then pour in 4 tsp of the liquid oils mentioned above. Slightly cool the mixture and apply it to the skin of the hands. The consistency of this cream resembles vaseline and is absorbed for a very long time. But the result will be noticeable after the first application. The rest of the cream can be poured into a jar of cream, preferably glass.
