Hair masks with kefir. Video recipes

Ordinary kefir is good for the whole body. This natural fermented milk product is an excellent skin and hair care product. Kefir, thanks to the action of protein, yeast, calcium, vitamins B and E, lactic acid sticks, perfectly nourishes the hair, makes it beautiful and healthy.

On the basis of kefir, you can prepare many different hair masks that will help to give shine and silkiness, improve the structure, prevent fragility and loss, protect from the negative effects of the sun, wind and other negative factors.

The simplest kefir hair mask consists of a single component – kefir. Just generously lubricate your hair and scalp with it, put a plastic bag over your head and cover your head with a towel or cap. Walk around with such a mask for an hour and a half, then wash your hair with shampoo. It is not necessary to use conditioner or balm after such a mask.

It should be remembered that such a mask is suitable only for owners of dry hair for permanent care. If you have oily hair, do kefir procedures 1-2 times a month.

It is advisable to apply all masks to clean hair and be sure to insulate them to achieve the greatest effect.

If you are suffering from hair loss, prepare:

  • kefir – 1 glass;
  • brewer’s yeast – 1 teaspoon;
  • mustard powder – 1 teaspoon;
  • any essential oil – 3-5 drops.

To enhance the effect of the mask, add one of the following ingredients to it:

  • decoction of burdock, calamus or nettle;
  • egg yolk – from one egg;
  • onion juice – 1 teaspoon;
  • honey – 1 tablespoon;
  • burdock oil – 1 tablespoon or – cognac – 1 tablespoon.

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly, apply to hair, warm your head and hold the mask for 30-40 minutes. Then use a shampoo suitable for your hair type.

For scalp dandruff, traditional medicine recommends using the following recipes. Among them is a mixture of equal parts of nettle or burdock infusion and kefir. You need to keep such a mask on your hair for an hour. This remedy not only relieves dandruff, but also stimulates hair growth.

For the next mask take:

  • half a glass of kefir;
  • 1 tablespoon of any vegetable oil;
  • a handful of crumb from black bread.

Mix everything and apply on hair for 20 minutes. Then wash your hair with shampoo.

For dry hair, a mask made from:

  • three tablespoons of kefir;
  • one tablespoon of any base oil (olive, burdock or castor);
  • one egg yolk.

It takes about an hour to hold the resulting product.

A mask of kefir, oatmeal, a few tablespoons of mayonnaise, which, in its absence, can be replaced with melted butter, well nourishes hair of any type

For owners of oily hair, a hair mask from:

  • 150 g of yogurt;
  • beaten egg white.

If desired, you can add potato starch or freshly squeezed potato juice to the mixture to help remove greasy hair. And lemon juice mixed with kefir will give your hair a beautiful shine and volume.

To restore hair after a perm or dyeing, as the experience of beauties shows, you can also use kefir. It should be borne in mind that lactic acid helps to wash out the coloring pigment from the hair. So if you like to color your hair, use kefir with care.
