To regulate the work of the sebaceous glands, clay is widely used in home cosmetics – white, blue, green. It dries out the scalp, relieves oily dandruff and helps the hair stay clean and shiny longer.

Composition:

  • colored clay – 2 tablespoons
  • milk
  • sea ​​buckthorn – 2 tablespoons

Dissolve the clay with warm milk so that a liquid gruel is obtained, and add the crushed sea buckthorn berries. Apply the mixture to your scalp, put on a shower cap or plastic bag and leave the mask on for 40 minutes, then wash off with shampoo under warm water.

A black bread mask is very effective for oily hair. Pour a little warm water over the stale brown bread and apply the resulting gruel to the scalp. Cover your hair with a shower cap, wrap with a towel and leave the mask on for an hour.

  • egg yolk

Onion juice is the real cure for damaged split ends, but this treatment method has a very unpleasant side effect – a persistent onion smell that does not go away for a long time and intensifies if the hair is wet. Essential oils of lemon, tangerine, tea tree, as well as lemon juice or table vinegar will help neutralize this smell.

Composition:

  • raw onion
  • egg yolk
  • castor oil – 1 tablespoon
  • honey – 1 tablespoon
  • cognac – 1 tablespoon
  • tea tree oil – 5 drops

Grate or mince an onion, squeeze the juice and mix it with egg yolk, castor oil, honey and cognac. Instead of brandy, you can use vodka. Add tea tree oil and massage into hair roots. Cover your hair with a shower cap and warm towel. Keep the mask for about an hour. Rinse off the mixture with shampoo, rinse your head with warm water, to which you need to add vinegar or or lemon juice (2 tablespoons per liter of water). The procedure must be carried out 2 times a week for a month in order to obtain a lasting effect: soft shiny healthy hair.

A more gentle way of strengthening the hair is also known. Traditionally, traditional medicine has used burdock root to stimulate hair growth. Rinse the root, grate and spread the gruel on the hair roots for an hour. You can squeeze juice from the grated root and mix it with honey and yolk – 2 tablespoons of juice, a tablespoon of honey and the yolk of 1 egg.
