About cauterization on the forums they write only in enthusiastic tones. The main trumps of the procedure are the natural composition of the preparations and the restoration of even the most hopeless hair. Is it really?
Hair cauterization – what is it?
Cauterization of hair strengthens its natural strength, the strands become more resistant to temperature extremes, ultraviolet radiation, recover faster after chemical and thermal effects. Say, the same gives, for example, keratinization or lamination. Perhaps. But here the trick is in the composition: it is predominantly natural. Preparations for cauterization are made from an extract of a bamboo stem. The latter is rich in silicon, a mineral essential for youthful and healthy hair. At the same time, according to reviews, bamboo cosmetics do not weigh hair down, do not make them greasy, and the procedure can be performed on hair of different quality.
Indications and contraindications
brittle, weakened;
lifeless, with split ends;
prone to falling out;
spoiled by a hair dryer or ironing;
have creases along the entire length;
look untidy and unkempt.
However, this wonderful procedure has its contraindications. What is cauterization, you can forget for a while if:
you have recently dyed, bleached, straightened or curled your hair with chemicals;
you suffer from inflammatory diseases or rashes on the scalp;
there are microcracks, abrasions, scratches and bruises on the head.

Pros and cons of the cauterization method
The main advantages of the procedure include:
quick result – hair both externally and to the touch become different after the first trip to the salon;
lasting effect – a course of 3-4 procedures is enough for the curls to remain beautiful and shiny for up to 4 months;
beauty and health – the hair not only looks good, but also feels great, this is the difference between the cauterization method and procedures that give an exclusively aesthetic effect;
easy combing – now you don’t have to tear apart electrified brittle curls with a comb, your hair will become smoother and more manageable;
styling without consequences – drying with a hairdryer and styling with an iron will be much better tolerated by the hair.
Of the minuses of cauterization, we note:
high price – a full course of hair restoration includes 3-4 procedures, one session every 2 weeks; then, to maintain the result, you need to go to the salon every 3-4 months, and this, of course, is a decent expense;
certain restrictions – for example, hair coloring and lightening are not allowed during the course, and this may be inconvenient for those who are used to (or who need to) go to the colorist every 1,5-2 months.

What effect can be expected from cautery
How is hair cautery done?
On average, one cauterization session takes from 30 to 40 minutes – it all depends on the length, thickness of the hair and the type of procedure (cold cauterization is faster). The procedure is safe, uncomplicated, predictable, ruining the hair in the process (many people are afraid of this for some reason) is sooo difficult.
Hot
The technology involves several stages.
The head is washed with a special shampoo, which includes proteins and lipids.
Serum based on a bamboo extract is applied to the entire length of the hair.
The strands are dried with a hairdryer and a curling iron is passed over them: this is necessary to “seal” the cuticle scales and even out the structure of the curls.
The hair is thoroughly rinsed with water to wash off the remnants of the product. If this is not done, they will appear greasy.
Apply a concentrate with proteins, which helps to make hair soft and manageable, removes static electricity. The agent is kept for 15-20 minutes, then washed off with water.
The final chord is a finishing spray that fixes the result of the procedure and envelops the hair with a protective film, giving it shine.
Cold
Is it possible to carry out cauterization at home
Both hot and cold hair cauterization can be repeated at home – why not? You need to buy a set for the procedure in a specialized or online store. Just please observe the following conditions:
strictly follow the instructions – do not change the sequence of steps, do not apply more or less funds than necessary;
do not use strong fixation styling products the day before – a light protein shampoo may not wash them off, and as a result, the composition will lie unevenly;
when applying serum, step back 5-7 cm from the roots, otherwise you will get the effect of dirty hair;
wear a plastic cap to enhance the effect of the product.
Hot cauterization can also be done at home, but it’s better if someone helps you: it’s inconvenient to straighten your hair along the entire length with an iron. Yes, and it would be nice if the iron had a temperature switching function.
