«This biggest, third wave of covid cases has focused on us. We wonder if, if there is such an upward trend, our department will be able to accommodate covid pregnant patients from the entire region. Today we list some obstetricians, i.e. those women after childbirth. Today we also list two burdens that can be said to have undergone covid quarantine in the ward. The remaining patients, on the other hand, are on oxygen and are in assisted breathing. And we cannot terminate their pregnancies yet, because they are too small pregnancies »- said prof. Zimmer.
The expert assessed that the medical situation in obstetrics may worsen if the peak period of the disease continues and thus there are more new cases.
