The Gurzufsky pink variety was bred by breeders more than 30 years ago. It is universal, it is also called technical, it ripens mainly in the early stages. As a rule, the moment of ripening occurs at the end of August. Also, this grape is recommended for consumption in its natural form. Used in the production of high quality table wines.
The yield of Gurzuf pink grapes is quite high under favorable conditions – up to 150 centners per hectare. From a bush of one plant, you can collect about 6 kilograms of berries. An important aspect is the fact that the marketability of grapes is approximately 90%, that is, there is practically no production waste.
Characterization
Clusters loose, conical in shape. The weight of the vine can reach 500 grams, and its average size is about 250-300 grams.. The density of the clusters is loose, loose. The berry itself is round, the color varies from pink to almost black.
The size of the berry is average – approximately 2-3 grams. It contains four small seeds. The skin is quite dense, and the flesh is juicy, fleshy. Berries have a pleasant nutmeg taste and a rich, pronounced aroma. The tasting score is 8 points.
The sugar content in Gurzuf pink grapes reaches 29%, the acidity is only 6 grams per liter. The bushes are vigorous and require pruning. The load on the bush should be a maximum of 40 eyes, this is extremely important to consider when pruning.
The Gurzuf variety is resistant to such pests as phylloxera, oidium, gray rot and mildew, that is, it is quite unpretentious. Its endurance during frosts is up to -25 ° C, while the death of the eyes has not been recorded. This is the reason for the possibility of growing the Gurzuf variety in different areas.
