Guided meditation The technique that helps improve concentration when we are easily distracted
The psychologist Belén Colomina, an expert in mindfulness, explains in this guided meditation session how to find the necessary resources to concentrate better
On these dates the heat begins and that also coincides with a greater requirement for people who are studying, the exams are approaching and the work of the whole course is solved. Also for people who work, the workload usually increases to leave everything closed before going on vacation. Therefore, it becomes a priority to learn to concentrate to optimize and manage time better, without this implying completely exhausting yourself in the attempt.
To concentrate we need, first of all, learn to relax. If we are too activated or activated, our mind with its multiple thoughts will be more easily distracted. We need to slow down the revolutions of our body and our mind a bit in order to stabilize the focus of attention on our task.
Once we have relaxed, we will need to focus without losing the relaxation we have cultivated, that is, without generating tension. Today, we will practice a relaxed concentration by counting breathing cycles, to optimize our efforts and efficiency.
